Answer:	My backpack is about 7 months old, so I don't know if the manufacturer has changed the product since my purchase, or not. As far as I can tell, the straps are not "reinforced" where they attach to the top of the backpack. In other words, they are single straps sewn into the fabric of the pack. That said, so far I have had no problems with the durability of the product. However, I am retired and really only use it for occasional travel, rather than everyday for work or school. Hope this helps!

Answer:	The Home Depot where I shop carries 1/4 sheet sand paper that fits all 1/4 sheet sanders. If you can't find it in 1/4 sheets you can buy a full sheet and cut it to fit.

Answer:	No, the paper is removeable, where if you use your own it would likely be permanent and you would not be able to remove the sandpaper when worn out. Adhesive sandpaper has a peel off backing on it that sticks to the sander's pad.
