Based on measurements alone it would seem like it would fit, but I would be worried it would be extremely tight. Question:	How deep/thick is the bag
Answer:	The separate lunch box that matches the backpack fits perfectly in the backpack. My son goes to preschool and in the front pocket of the backpack is a spare set of clothes and in the main compartment of the backpack is room enough for the lunch box and full size folder and a little room to spare as well. The lunch box is insulated and keeps his food cold and there is even a little mesh pocket on the inside of the lunch box for napkin, etc. I usually fit 2 ice packs, yogurt drink, juice box, snacks and pudding, etc in there. It's a pretty decent size. There is also a little Velcro strap inside the lunchbox to hold something in place. On the outside of the front flap there is zipper pocket on the lunch box too. Rough measurements are 10 inches wide 8 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches deep.

Answer:	Yes! I have used this for my carry-on for years and it fits every time. I usually have books, sneakers, clothes, and other things packed in it. Depending on how stuffed it is, it will fit under the seat and absolutely in the overhead bin. Love it!

Answer:	I have bought multiple High Sierra backpacks. We have 4 kids with A and B day schdules and we keep seperate backpacks for each day. They like any backpack give out after normal daily wear and tear of carrying heavy books, constant use to get pens/pencils etc. They held up for three years before we needed to use the warranty. We contacted the manufacturer directly and were sent replacement backpacks with minimal difficulty. I had to take pictures of the damage, find my old amazon reciept and then show that I had destroyed the backpack to get a replacement. I needed new backpacks due to kids wanting to change the style of the back pack. I immediately reordered High Sierra because of this experience.

Answer:	Hello, I am not a backpack expert but after handling quite a few of these backpacks I would say the short answer is; yes. However, this is a very lightweight backpack. When I speak about weight, light, medium, and heavy I am talking about the material thickness, and design support: not the numeric weight. Although JanSport offers a lifetime manufacture's warranty the extra strain on this particular lightweight backpack may cause discomfort to the wearer. You may want to look at the JanSport City View or JanSport Big Student styles. These backpacks will easily handle a 14 - 15 inch laptop.
