Although JanSport offers a lifetime manufacture's warranty the extra strain on this particular lightweight backpack may cause discomfort to the wearer. You may want to look at the JanSport City View or JanSport Big Student styles. These backpacks will easily handle a 14 - 15 inch laptop.

Answer:	No spot for a backpack like a Swiss Gear, but it will fit a laptop depending on its size. I have a 17.3" that barely fits in it.
Question:	Is there side pocket for water bottle
Answer:	Mine does have a mesh pocket on the side that I use for my water bottles.
