I round this up to 23 cents to make it easy, so that means it costs me 23 cents per hour to run a 1,000 watt appliance. STEP 3: Multiply your hourly cost by this appliance's wattage. The details indicate this is heater is 120 Volts at 12.5 Amps. To calculate watts is just (volts) * (amps). So (120 volts) * (12.5 amps) = 1,500 watts. Remember that 1,500 watts is VERY common for major appliances as noted above, and other smaller heaters might be around the same, or possibly 1,000 watts. Let's say you're a family with a space heater in each room to keep people warm. Let's imagine those space heaters were 1,000 watts each. If you lower the flames to the lowest setting this noise too will go away.

Answer:	The soles are glued and stitched in. You can also can easily take the cushion out and add another in it. It's a nicely crafted shoe that is water resistant and comfortable. I wore them in the snow and they kept my feet dry and warm. They also have good tread to prevent a lot of slidding.

Answer:	Weight is subjective...depends on size. I wear size 14 and I'm sure they weight twice as much as a small mans size. I shopped in a store before buying and compared these to a number of other brands and they are among the lighter weight boots among of the better brands. I found some inexpensive brands that were much lighter but not very good quality. They are not so heavy as to feel weighted. They are not as stiff as I anticipated them to be either.

Answer:	These Ultra 3 boots are slimmer compared to the ultra 2. I have a 10.5EE (wides) in the Ultra 3s, and the sole is not even as wide as my old 10.5 Ultra 2s. Would suggest getting the wide if upgrading from Ultra 2s. As noted the lacing system now has two speed hood and the uppermost speed hook, is about 1/4 inch higher up. Heel traction pattern has also been changed. Other than that ..very similar in style and performance. My Ultra 2s lasted 4 years and many miles...and hoping for the same
