Answer:	I bought the dress according to the size my daughter wears now. But to be safe, I ordered a size larger (just in case). She had some wiggle room, so she will get more than one use out of the dress. But once it was tied you couldn't tell. The dress touched the floor for her (she's 6). My other two nieces also ordered a size larger (one is 5 and the other 9). My older nieces dress you could barely see her shoes (she's tall for her age). Hope this helps!

So, if she is really under the age of 5, you may need to opt for a different color and try to find a 3/4. Hope this helps. But be advised, the champagne color is more like a ivory or deep off-white.

Answer:	I would say a size 4. My daughter was 42 inches and 36lbs at the time and the size 4 was a tad too long even with the petticoat I got separately, so I returned that and got a size 2. The size 2 ended up fitting her waistline like a glove and was about 1-2 inches off the floor so we went with the 2. So being your daughter is slightly taller and heavier, then the 4 should work. The 6 would be too big.

Answer:	Follow the directions of the seller on measuring. I was in the same situation where I needed the dress quickly and was unsure of the sizing. I naturally wanted to order her usual size, but based on the seller’s instructions on how to measure, I went with those measurements. I am by no means a seamstress and never measure clothes. Answer:	You should just measure the persone that will wear the dress and look at their size charts on the webpage. This is what i did. We had no issues with my daughter's dress

Answer:	Yes it does. I ordered 2 sizes up but my child is tall and thicker than most 8 years olds. She weighs 118 and is 4 foot 9 and I ordered the size 15. If you have a thinner child you may not have to size up that much. The waist area needs to be altered when you size up because it's a little large . Not by much and it seems to be the sash area that's big. It's sewn on. Also it will be very long. We ordered a 3 tier petticoat and that helped.
