Answer:	Short answer is yes. I use a bag in addition to the included foam filter. I use a plastic tie to afix the vacuum bag (any cheap one will work) around the foam filter which I leave on. Problem is the bag gets in the way and you need to be careful not to knock the bag or tear it. Interesting thing is that not alot of dust escapes through the included foam filter.
