Why is yellow sight better for night vision?

Any view that we experience as color is no more than a different wavelength of an electromagnetic ray (spectrum). The human eye can notice wavelengths ranging from 400 nano (UV) to 760 nano (infrared). The yellow color is somewhere in the middle of that range and that’s why it is the most balanced and healthy color to the human eye.
