I would recommend buying a dress based on the size of your daughter, not the age range they fall under. I went one size up because my daughter is 3 years old and she's tall for a 3 year old, but the 3-4 year old dress dragged on the floor whereever she went. Which is accurate to the picture, but hard for a toddler to walk in. The trail is much longer than the dress but if you like taking pictures of your daughter in the wind, it's great.
