I've grown to like the Resolve II better than the Resolve I.

Which is a shame the CRA 9905 & 9908 were awesome its sad that Charles River had to make this change. They also changed the pull cord from a shoelace heavy duty thing to a flimsy bungee cord thread that will fail with on 4 months or less. Also they have made the cotton lining super thin and not durable. I fear to find out if they cheapened the seams as to force customers to buy more jackets! Shame on CRA!!! FYI there are 2 smalls adult Small and youth small choose wisely!!!!

I bought this because it was packable and could be thrown in a backpack when not in use. I purchased this for an Alaskan cruise since the weather can be unpredictable. I was able to layer it over a thick, long sleeve cotton shirt & a lightweight thin down jacket. It held up to a little light rain and gave me an extra layer of wind breaking during a whale excursion. I'm not sure how it would hold up in a down pour as we had wonderful weather while we were there. Only a few times did it lightly rain, and this jacket kept me dry.

I ordered this jacket for an upcoming hiking trip. I don’t plan to use it often, so I like that it was affordable. I also like that it fits into a little bag and the blue color is attractive. I’m mainly writing this review to help others with fit, because I found some of the answers and reviews to be conflicting. I am 5’6”, 145 lbs, with athletic build. Bust maybe 36” and hips maybe 39”. Answer:	no...it's just pulled tight because the zipper is all the way up..no drawstring..so if your child does not like it zipped all the way up..the hood might not stay up....i liked the look of the jacket..I just did not like that feature...

Answer:	It probably wouldn't keep the child dry in extremely heavy rain. It is perfect for a light shower, but the material is pretty thin.

Answer:	That's depends on your child's structure, a 6-6X is more big boysA true 6 is more of the little boys.Columbia is mostly true to size, some styles tend to run small. Hope that helps!
