Answer:	I would go with the size 12M if he is average in size. If the length happens to be too short in the pants or sleeves there is extra fabric to take it out a bit. It has an elastic waistband that we had to take in a little bit because it was too big. If you do a larger size he might be swimming in the jacket and at that age you don’t want that.
