Answer:	Super thin polyester which requires something underneath, I.e. shorts. Beware as it is not strong enough if your kid gets into blackberries, thorns...

Answer:	With a few layers underneath, this is helpful to keep out the snow or rain. We send our preschooler to outdoor school in fall/winter/spring in New England, and this is required gear. It is great for keeping out the moisture, but on its own, it is not warm enough for freezing temperatures.

Answer:	No, they are not quiet. They work ok as an outer layer to stay dry but they are fairly loud and tear if walking through heavy brush.

Answer:	There doesn’t seem to be an actual size chart anywhere, even on the Frogg Togg sight. Looking on the FT website when ordering, the Polly Woggs do mention sizes; S=4, M=8, L=12. They also provide a contact number, (866) 602-5045. Your best bet would be to go try on a set, if they aren’t supposed to be a gift. I know that most Walmart’s carry adult sizes, they may carry children’s also.

Answer:	It is loose fit and true to size. You don't need to size up. But if you do size up, it is okay too since there are elastic bands around the ankles and also there is adjustable drawstring around the waist.
