Answer:	It is open at the top and a small tea candle would fit but I wouldn't use a real flame as it might melt the plastic, use the fake ones. It's 2" across the top, and 3" deep but remember it's V shaped so the candle would stop about 1 1/2" inches down.

Answer:	I am not sure if the type of cotton but the man size is only up to 8 pounds. Carter's go up to 9 pounds for nb. My daughters baby is due in a couple of days and since it is going to be at least full term these might end up being to small to use. These are the only T-shirts that she got for nb. Let's hope they are somewhat useful.
