Answer:	You push in, it's very hard to open the first time or two.
Question:	How much tea fits in it
Answer:	If you can get it opened . I don't recommend this for tea use . It's very cheaply made. I gave mine to the little girl next door for her tea parties.

Answer:	I had the same things happen to the 2 sets that I ordered; within 2 weeks the outside corking was broken. Very disappointing, as I love these coasters :-(
