| Answer: | It's Verizon device (under US Cellular branding) which uses a different technology than GSM although it comes as GSM Unlocked. (This phone uses CDMA for Voice and GSM for 4G LTE since CDMA cannot handle 4G speeds) however in order to get 4G LTE to work on other carriers, you need to use a 3rd party application and enable LTE+GSM, it's a bit tricky, and sometimes it reverts back to original settings after reboot. All that said, it is GSM Unlocked but it's tricky to get it working with other carriers. I would suggest look for the ACTUAL GSM model (AT&T / T-MOBILE or other carriers) and get that unlocked instead. |
