Answer:	The previous answer to the question does not actually answer the question. It answers how to operate the voce scamble feature, but not what type it is ... and, I will add to the question .. is the 'scramble' feature adjustable? If not then any other users with the same radio will be able to hear you .. not just your group.

Simply do a search for Luiton FCC - From Luiton's own website: "FCC regulations require all radios operating on business band frequencies 1 watt or more to require a license (LUITON professional two way radios operate at 4-5 Watts). Instructions for obtaining a license are included with each package. It is up to the user to obtain the license. A license is NOT required to purchase a radio and can be done easily after receipt of delivery. FRS or Family radios operating at 1/2 watt or less do not require a license." So YES you DO need a license to operate these radios!! Failure to do so can result in a $10,000 (ten thousand) USD minimal fine from the FCC. You can search for that too. Otherwise, these are great radios.

Setting up the Baby Unit with Crib Mount



Step 1: Fasten the round adaptive plate on the screw thread of the Crib Mount Stand.



Step 2: Place the mount stand against the crib with the screw thread going through the crib bars.

Any obstruction between parent and baby units will reduce the range significantly. With parent and baby units indoors, the typical range is up to 165 feet. Question:	How is the call quality? not wifi calling, just regular phone calls. always been lucky with motorola phones, but curious. have a moto x pure right now
Answer:	AT&T In Portland, OR area (but about 45 minutes outside the urban boundary, so more rural). I have great sound/call quality and have had zero issues with dropped calls. I'm very happy with this phone.
Question:	Does this have two SIM slots

Question:	can this phone be used with republic wireless
Answer:	*UPDATE* - I'm still researching this phone, since I think it will be my next one. Per Google (4/18/20) - "the phone comes with 128 gb of memory and is expandable up to 512 gb." (which is great, and would offer a maximum of 640 gb of storage). I may be old and out of date, but I'm still confused by the "shared sim" and how this would impact the use of the Republic Wireless sim card?? I wanted to correct my original reply and clarify. ~ Hope this helps.
