Eventhough Mophie support says that it fits fine, no way you can take the iphone out of the case without seriously risking to damage the lightning connector or the phone.

Answer:	Yes you can...it has a charger cord that comes with it that you can use in a wall charger. The cord for the iphone can't be used while the mophie case is on the iphone so just put it away and use the mophie case charger cord.
