Question:	Can you "drill out" a hole in the bottom edge of this case to use 3.5 mm headphones
Answer:	Personally, I would not use it in that manner. I use it to cook pizza. The first time I used it when I took it out of the oven and as it was cooling it made a loud popping sound and the pizza actually bounced in the air about 1” or 2”. It still does it but we are getting used to it. My thoughts are you should never put any pan on your cooktop without anything cooking in it. My enamel tea pot ran out of water and melded to the cooktop, could not pick it up until it cooled, it picked up the glass from the cooktop and the enamel on the teapot all cracked and fell off, needless to say.... that burner and teapot could never be used again ! Hope this helps.

Answer:	Wrap the wood with aluminum foil. It should be okay. And, of course you don't want high flames. This should be set on the edge of the grate so as to have an easy perk.

Answer:	I haven’t done this but it is used to boil water, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work without the coffee grounds to just boil water. I say yes, you can.

Answer:	I’ve found that the perfect method for me is filling up to the first hole (where it pours from) 5 level tablespoons of ground and turning heat between High & Medium. It takes somewhere around 17 minutes to perk (for me) then I set my timer for 7 minutes. Comes out lovely every time! Sadly my glass top recently cracked, and the replacement I bought doesn’t fit. Would be great if they sold replacement glass tops for this percolater.
