Answer:	I've had two, and the back part of the case stayed completely clear. The rubber insert that goes around the edge did become discolored in my first case, but not yellow. It picked up color from the red cloth pouch I carried it in, and turned pink. So far (4 months), the rubber rim of the new one has not become discolored at all.
