(NOTE: If you're using an off-brand controller, it will NOT support any chat functions at all)To clarify, yes it will work and no you don't need Microsoft's stereo adapter to make it work, it'll work as is.

Question:	Are these the Vive pro controllers
Answer:	OK, here's my understanding - you can't load them ON it. Only some small games can actually be loaded directly onto the device. However, any game can be played wirelessly, with a good wifi network. Basically, you will install the games through Viveport or through Steam - either way, they will end up in your Steam library. Then you launch Steam VR, then launch the game. In the headset make sure that your PC Streaming is turned on, then open Steam VR on the headset device. The game will be ready and waiting for you. Alternatively, once the game has been launched a time or two, the headset will "see" it in the "on your pc" section of the headset's Library, and launching it there will launch the game on the PC through Steam VR and also automatically open Steam VR on the headset.

So far, every game I have tried that says that has installed directly on to the headset rather than running through Steam VR - for example, Fruit Ninja installs locally and says the same thing, whereas Crisis Vrigade 2 plays through Steam and does not list compatibility with the Focus Plus (although it plays great if your PC is capable.) My understanding is that VR Chat would play without the PC.

Answer:	No light goes forward, there's no blinking red light or anything like that. all of the light from the display goes backwards. if you push it tight against your face, the rubber eye visor should prevent essentially all of the light from escaping.

Answer:	Tracking is inside the headset fully for the Vive Cosmos. The Cosmos elite uses the lighthouse system to track. The Cosmos has some issues with the 100% headset tracking and will at times loose track of one of your controllers if it is behind you (like reaching over a shoulder to grab and item) or if one controller is in front of the other blocking the view of the controller from the cameras in the headset. The lighthouse system does not have that problem (I have never had an issue with losing track of a controller) and the lighthouse system offers some upgrade options that the standard Cosmos does not like additional sensors that can be used for full body tracking.

- Required Tracker 2.0 2018 version attached on Pistol but tracker is not included with order, easy to buy in amazon ASIN: B0748ZY323, or local market.

- Trackpad touch is not 100% functional due to Tracker 2.0’s bug, only central press-key function works, touch tracking function (up, down, left, right) can’t work. It caused many VR game requiring Trackpad touch (up, down, left, right) is not compatible with ScarVR 2.0 Rifle. Old tracker 1.0 won’t has this problem but stop production. We are waiting for HTC Vive company to fix it.

Answer:	Yes, this can run any steam vr game. Though some games haven't programmed controls for it so you may have to download/customise the button maps for it. I had to do that for Gorn and Skyrim VR.

Answer:	Full-body tracking is possible on the headset but not as is. You would need the base station tracking module that's coming out next year. full-body tracking requires the base stations along with the HTC tracking pucks and unfortunately you cannot use two forms of tracking at the same time so the headset can't use it's inside out tracking.

Answer:	There are no base stations with the Vive Cosmos and the difference is pretty massive. Inside out tracking will work fine in certain games like Beat Saber and VR Chat, but if you play certain games the Cosmos has some pretty glaring faults that will make you wish for outside in tracking. Anything where you have to line up both of the controllers with the headset (such as while drawing back a bow in Skyrim VR or VR Dungeon Knight, or using two hands to hold a rifle or shotgun in Pavlov VR or Boneworks) is going to cause trouble because the headset can't accurately track the front controller past the rear controller. The headset also loses track of your hands when reaching anywhere not in front of you, such as reaching behind you to store a spare firearm or grab a backpack, or even grabbing your shoulder to activate a radio. It's true that the Cosmos is modular and you can add base stations later, but you have to buy them. You also need the new faceplate to allow the Cosmos to work with those base stations. Oh, and the included controllers won't work with the base stations, so you'll need some of those too. With all of the extras you'll need to buy to make the Cosmos perform outside in tracking, you could almost just buy another headset...

Answer:	Boy is there a lot of misinformation here. The $799 is the headset only at HTC. The full VIVE Pro Full Kit is $1399 at HTC but it includes the newer controllers and base stations, version 2.0. There is also a Starter Kit that has version 1.0 controllers and base stations The question here that the vendor doesn’t answer to are these version 1.0 or 2.0. This could be the Starter Kit with 1.0 units, the seller calls it Pro Virtual Reality System. Could be Starter Kit that HTC sells for $1099.

After two calls of +30 minutes each over 4 days Amazon confirmed that they didn't send me the codes due to their error and that I would get the codes the next business day.What actually happened is that they sent me the following email:"Hello,I understand your concern as you have not received promotional certificate for 3 games with VR system.I'm sorry you weren't able to take advantage of this promotional offer before it expired. Our promotional offers function much like a coupon in a physical store. They are valid only for the length of the promotion.I hope you'll be able to take advantage of our future promotions.We look forward to seeing you again soon.Best regards,Amit AThank you.Amazon.com"That's right Amit A says I'm out of luck. #cancelPrime
