Answer:	No, it does not offer enough protection. I had a small drop on the floor and the screen cracked when it hit face down. The lip just isn't big enough to prevent cracks. Get another case protector.

Answer:	There is a small silver logo imprint of the JETech logo on the bottom part of the back side. It shouldn't be noticeable if you have a silver/space grey back. I personally bought this case not so much for the protection of my new iphone but for me to test the approximate size of the iphone itself (ie. to see if it fits in my pockets etc.) before it was released
