Question:	Will it hold the iPhone 5S
Answer:	Yes it should. The iPhone 5 is listed at 2.31 inches wide and this mount is listed as supporting phones from 2.3 inches wide so it should fit fine. There are two small feet at the bottom of the mount to keep your phone from sliding through as well. It is a very nice phone mount, one of the best I've ever used in a decade. The suction pad holds extremely well and fastens to the front plate of a pro-clip nicely for a great pro installation.
Question:	Does anyone even bother to read the previous questions before adding another one that has been asked 6 times already
Answer:	So many of these reviews are paid/fake endorsements. Click the reviewer and read their other reviews. So sad reviews are becoming useless. Read the 1 and 2 star reviews from real people.
Question:	Will it work with a thick phone case
Answer:	I have an otter case and a pop socket and it’s too thick for it to stay on. Had to return. Without the pop socket it’d be a fantastic product that’d hold my phone.

Answer:	Bought this for my daughter January 2017. (Wisconsin). She loves it. However it broke after 18 months. She wants another and I’ll be ordering the newest version for her. She uses it with an iPhone 8 Plus with a case that holds 4-5 credit card-type cards. So it’s bulky, yet I t held the phone securely. So I think it is worth $25. I’m hoping that whatever broke has been improved. But even if it didn’t, if it lasts another 18 months she’ll be happy. She has a 2016 CRV and she placed the pad on the flat surface in front of the secondary screen.

Answer:	It is recommended to adhere it to the case.

Answer:	If your phone is larger than 6 inches, you may want to use the rectangular one since it will provide more magnetic power..
Question:	It is possible to reposition the sticky base many times
Answer:	Not too many times. Yes you can remove it, wash it, and place it somewhere else but it is not as sticky. I don't recommend repositioning as mine lost the thick sticky piece due to moving and now the product is useless.

Installation

Stick the magnetic plate to the back of your phone (or place it inside your case under the phone) and attach your phone to the arm of the mount.

Peel off the white backing on the bottom of the adhesive base and stick it to your dashboard.

Step 2

Lift up the lever on the phone mount and place it on top of the adhesive base.

Answer:	Looking at your dashboard setup, it looks like it may be able to clip in the middle of your dashboard, but may block part of your view when you're driving. It may also clip behind your steering wheel.
Question:	Will it fit an iPhone SE 2020 with no case on it
Answer:	Yes it will. The height of the phone won’t matter. My iPhone 8 with case is 3inches. Your SE 2020 without case is 2.65inches. And there is room to spare.

Answer:	I have a 2009 Saab 9-3 with air vents that form a grid pattern, this does not fit within the space of the grids, so I cannot use it.
Question:	Are those reviews really real ? seems so fake
Answer:	I dk what reviews are fake or real, but I do know this product works very well! There is a convenient release button on the back that springs open the sides and allows an easy removal of the phone, which (when squeezed) has a ratchet system to hug the phone when you are ready to use it again. The clamp that holds it to the vent is fully adjustable and the switch is easy to operate which locks it in place. I think you will be very pleased.
Question:	I have an otter box on my iphone 6s plus. Will the mount still fit
Answer:	I have an iPhone 8 plus with a Spigen Herringbone case and Ring holder on the back and have been using this holder for a year now with no issues. Yes, the phone does not fit perfectly in to the holder and does stick out but there is still enough grip from the sides and with it tilted up to my view point in my car, Mazda CX5, the phone has never fallen out. At least not yet. I have tried a LOT of holders and this has been the best one I have found to date. I am buying 2 right now for my parents. My dad was driving my car while I was out of the country last month and the holder mysteriously disappeared when I went to get the car back. :)
Question:	Will it hold a Galaxy S
Answer:	It can hold S8 but not Note8 or Note9 (Note series are too heavy). Even with S8, overtime it will just get loose.. We had to put in a plastic piece to make it clam stronger on the air vent. Personally I think the design can be improved

Installation Instrustions

1. Hold the car mount with your hands and unscrew the lock washer on the back. (Do not throw away this washer) Place circular ball on lever through lock washer.

2. Insert the ball into the slot in the back of the mount.

3. Tighten the lock washer back onto the mount.

4. The unit is now assembled.

5. Use the bi-directional lever to clamp the mount to your air vent. One way will be tighter than the other.

6. Adjust your mount to the desired position and you are ready to go!

7. Simply open the sides with the button on the back of the mount and place your cell phone or device in the mount and close the sides to secure it. Then use the quick release button on the back to remove your device.

Answer:	I have purchased four of these. I have purchased this SKU both from a brick and mortar retailer and from Amazon. I am 99% certain the B stands for "box" not black, since all of the MAGDMs are black. If you purchase this SKU from a brick and mortar store, it will come packaged in a HORRIBLE plastic blister pack that is EXTREMELY hard to open. If you purchase this from amazon it comes in a 100% recyclable chipboard box with minimal extra paper as well.
Question:	Does the adhesive mount have to be mounted on a complety smooth surface, or is the adhesive pad sticky enough to adhere to semi-textured surface
Answer:	I purchased mine for my school bus (we have to be completely hands free). First I cleaned the area with warm water and dried it with a paper towel. Waited about 30 minutes and cleaned the same area with alcohol pads. Allowed the area to dry and placed the (adhesive) mount and held it for a few minutes to secure it. I have used it for 6 months of road trips (2 hours or more) and a couple of long distance trips (4 hours or more) I have an LG V10 and although I didn't stick the pads on the phone I did place then inside the cover and it hold extremely well. Make sure you clean the area you're placing the mount with alcohol to ensure a strong hold.... School Buses have very bumpy dash areas and this is PERFECT!!!! I have recently ordered 3 more of these for my personal vehicles and for a friends birthday gift! 😄

Answer:	The mount is capable since it is a clamp. If you clamp it on the stand and try to bend the gooseneck over the top of the screen, it simply won’t work because the length of the neck is 25” and would simply not reach over the top. If you were to clamp it to the stand and come under the screen then it would work perfectly.

Answer:	It can hold width up to 4 inches, please make sure the width of your portable home phone is less than 4 inches.

Answer:	I doubt it; however, you might be able to position it for her so it's not in her way in the first place. I use mine to make videos of items I'm painting at the table, so the phone needs to be nearly right over my surface. I have it clamped to the table edge to me left, far enough away that I don't bump it. I wish I had the option of posting a photo. The arm of this holder is flexible, but stiff enough to hold position like in the photo Amazon shows so it takes a bit of strength to bend it the way I want. I'm so sorry your daughter has this problem, and I hope my answer has helped.
