Answer:	These answers are only partly correct. The camera has a 1 gig buffer so for long videos it will break them in pieces. You won't loose footage but you'll have to string them together.

Both have waterproof casing and accesories but the real diference between black and silver editions is the video quality (4K vs 1080p) and photography resolution (12MP vs 10MP). Answer:	I bought this stick for a similar reason, to get over and underwater pics while kayaking. Ended up returning this one as it really only has 2 lengths, full extend and full retract. But it is light and easily carried on a kayak.

Answer:	I would have no way of knowing this. My prior system was a Kenmore which included a storage tank, and when Sears stopped selling the filters I threw the whole thing out. I then bought the Whirlpool system which does not need a storage tank, and can pick up filters at Lowes anytime. The gap between my switchover does not allow me the advantage of knowing if the sizes are compatible, but I have no idea if the 38156 is anything like the one I threw out. Sorry.

Answer:	Yes, if your tripod has a 3/8" thread. Removing the button foot shows the 3/8" socket. Adapters are available to up-size from 1/4 to 3/8". 1/4 thread is the most common tripod size, however larger tripods use the 3/8 thread size.

Answer:	The control comes with the camera when you buy the camera, you can put the remote controls just like a bracelet, the camera comes with straps also so you can adjust the control to your wrist

Answer:	If you have a Crosstour camera it comes with a small remote for video and stills.

Answer:	The telescoping selfie stick is designed to be used without the waterproof case on the camera. Use the appropriate accessories that came with your camera in order to attach it to the selfie stick. When the camera is attached to the extended selfie stick, the remote control button is used to activate the camera for a still photo or movie. This works great! You will not be able to use the selfie stick in or under water. There is an optional non-telescoping waterproof handle attachment with a wrist strap that I would strongly recommend when the camera is used in or underwater. However, the only way to take a selfie in or underwater is to hold the camera at arms length and push the button on the outside of the waterproof case. Hope this helps.
