Question:	can this charge a solar generator
Answer:	In general yes, it can recharge the battery in a solar generator. If the system requires 12 volts, the solar panel provides 17 volts so it can "charge" the battery. Nothing happens it battery is pushing "back" at the same voltage that the solar panel is trying to push "forward" at. If the solar generator requires 24 volts, one has to get two solar panels and put them in a chain or series to provide 17 times 2 or 34 volts.
Question:	Do you think this could be mounted on a cargo box - and withstand road speeds
Answer:	I know of one customer that added 2x110W SunPower E-flex panels to their Thule cargo box and they haven't called us to say they blew off! Not sure what they used but 3M does a VHB tape (Very High Bond) or Eternabond tape is popular with RVers. There's a variety of install options.
Question:	Trying to figure out which victron controller would suit 4 of these 110W panels, anyone know
Answer:	If you have a 12V nominal battery bank you could pair 4x110W panels (in series or parallel) with the Victron MPPT SmartSolar 100/50. You could see up to around 38A on the output from the controller in colder temperatures when the panels perform better.

Question:	What inverter should I get for this
Answer:	Personally I'm a fan of Samlex inverters. I own two of them and they've been very solid. One of them runs full time, and the other one is for power outages only. The size will depend on what you want to do. If you want to run anything power hungry like a microwave, you'll want something in the 1500 watt range. If you only want to do smaller stuff, a 300 watt might be OK. Generally I'd choose pure sine wave unless you are on a very tight budget.
Question:	What are the dimensions folded and unfolded
Answer:	The panel kit folds up to 21"x41" and when deployed measures approx. 85"x41".
Question:	What is the largest appliance this will run
Answer:	Your appliances should NOT be run off the panels directly !!! It produces about 20amp/hrs over the HOUR ... of DC power ... your "appliances" might be AC !!?!!
Question:	What is the efficiency of the solar cells? If I shine it it with 10000 lux how much power does it generate
Answer:	I don't know how to translate LUX into watts and it definitely depends on what color or light spectrum you're "light" might be ... suffice it to say that I'm very happy with my panels. It comes with a "pretty much useless" charge controller that will only generate 1 to 2 amp/hrs ... but when I put it on my MPPT charge controller, I was getting MINIMUM 15-20amp/hrs !!!! PS: Make sure you are aware of what connectors are being provided, I had to modify my cables to match the panels 'pigtail' output wires.

Answer:	This doesn't provide much instant power so a bit yes but if you switch to lithium like A123 your system will have plenty of power.
Question:	How well will these hold up afixed to the roof of an RV
Answer:	I have 2 rigid 100W panels mounted to my RV but am going to switch to these because you can mount them flat to the roof reducing wind resistance and reducing weight. I would recommend 3M VHB tape as a permanent solution for metal or fiberglass roofs since it requires no roof penetration (which is what I plan to do) and Dicor to seal the edges to keep water/debris from seeping under the panels. For rubber roofs I would recommend using anchor bolts with dicor on the bolts and edges. I will use the rigid panels as ground "floaters" that I can tilt to track the sun when boon docking.
Question:	how to add extra panels for a 12 v system
Answer:	It depends on the size charge controller you have. Your charge controller will have a maximum array size listed in watts, (Mine is a Renogy Rover 40 amp controller) The array wattage for mine is 550 and I'm running five 100 watt panels... If you've maxed out your charge controller then you may need to start a brand new array. If not, then simply connect the new panels in parallel configuartion. (just in case, parallel is negative to negative, positive to positive, I use the MC-4 connections to Eco-worthy's combiner box, and then run a large main wire to the charge controller. Just remember, DC, especially 12volt, doesn't travel long distances, so look and see on a voltage drop calculator how much you'll be losing on distances) Maybe this is a little long-winded, but I hope it helps.

Answer:	Depends on the power you want to deal with. A higher voltage battery bank will let you deal with more power in the panels since the controllers are amp limited. Just get a controller that will do the voltage. MPPT will get you 15-25% more power from your panels. Also If you are using lithium batteries you need a charger that you can set charging voltages manually.
Question:	when it says 100 watts, is that per hour, per a number of hours, how does that work
Answer:	Let's do some quick math, 100 watts in full sunlight on a summer day for 6 hours is 600 watt hours input to a 12 volt 100 amp hour battery. 600 / 12 volts is 50 amp hours. If you have a 100 amp hour battery and your final voltage when the sun goes down is 12 .6 volts you have a somewhat new lead acid battery. At 12.6 volts A new battery will give you all 100 amp hours of it's capacity by the time it reaches 12.0 volts. A 3000 watt inverter at 120 volts produces / uses 25 amps. 25 * 60 mins = 1500 amp hrs * 24 hrs = 36000 amp hours per day to feed the monster. Don't try too cheat the math it has no conscience, I can't afford the batteries yet. The only argument anyone can offer is you don't use it all 24 hours do you?, Bet me!

Answer:	Measure or obtain the data on the voltage output of each panel set. If the voltage is the same (+ o - a few tenths of a volt) the panels can be wired in parallel. The amperage will increase and thus the power. A 100 watt set and a 120 watt set should yield 220 watts. The voltage, however, should remain the same as for a single panel set. The connectors for these panels sets are the standard for solar systems so a set of jumpers can be fashioned to quickly adapt them to a parallel system.

Answer:	You can try by unplug the 110v while the panels still connected to it. If it shuts off then you have the answer.
Question:	how many panels
Answer:	FYI I tried connecting up exactly 1000 watts in panels to a 1000 watt inverter, but I usually get ~800 watts in power (measured) to the inverter and that becomes converted to ~650 watts AC. That seemed low at first to me, yet it makes sense in that each device has ~80% efficiency. So that made me ask this question to several OEMs: "Does the 1000W rating of the inverter mean it can put out 1000W AC (with sufficient input like 1100W DC), or is it max 1000W DC (leading to ~800W AC max)?" Most have responded "It can produce 1000W AC, yet we don't suggest loading it 100% like that." So based on my experience above I'd be comfortable putting ~1200 watts in panels on a 1000W unit that will lead to ~1000W DC input and ~800W output most of the time. Otherwise you can connect up any lesser quantity and expect the lesser AC outputs (as well as reduced output from limiter functions if on that model).
Question:	are there inverters that will power both sides of my breaker panel(load sharing) or do should I need 2 and hook all panels to both inverters
Answer:	Multi point question. Yes there are inverters that have split phase output. That would answer the first part of your question. Those s[lit phase inverters will power both L1 and L2 of your breaker panel. The other part of your question has more than one answer. If these single phase (120V) inverters are stackable and grid tie capable, then yes, two of them could act like a split phase inverter and power both lines of your breaker panel. But, the input sides of the inverters, coming from the solar panels, have to be isolated. Do not tie all the solar panels to both inverters. Tie half of the panels to one inverter and the other half to the second inverter. Full disclosure, I don't have any of these inverters and have no affiliation with the company making or selling them. I am a certified solar power systems engineer and system designer and just want to offer guidance where I think I can be helpful.

A: The current below 4.5A will make the current limiter less sensitive. It is recommended to use it at 4.5-9A.

Q: Does the buckle of the current limiter require wires?

A: It is recommended to use the correct diameter restrictor wire. If the wire is too thin, please loop the wire inside the current limiter buckle to reach the proper size of the buckle. If the wire is too thick, the current limiter buckle cannot be buckled, and the current limiter will not work.

Q: Why does the grid-tie inverter not work or stop after working for a while?

A: When the power of the load in the working state is too low, the grid-tie inverter will not be able to recognize the load, so the inverter cannot be started. After starting the grid-tie inverter, if the power of the working load is lower than 100w, the inverter may stop working.

We recommend that when using 1000w grid tie inverter, ensure that the load power in the working state is not less than 100w
