Answer:	We have a dual electric recliner sofa. After being temporarily "trapped" during an power outage, we purchased the APC UPS, 600VA BE600M1 APC UPS Battery Backup system. This week we had a 3 day outage, and the UPS worked like a champ. A must have for anybody with electric recliner chair or sofa.
Question:	How long will it power my system while the power is off
Answer:	I had my desktop computer, 2 monitors, and my modem/router combo plugged into the ups battery power. It lasted less than 20 minutes when the power went out, and there was no additional warning when the battery was about to shut off. It just had this intermittent double beep for about 15- 20 minutes, then bang, everything off. Pretty disappointed. I guess you get what you pay for.
Question:	How often does the battery need to be replaced
Answer:	I have had APC batteries last 7-8 years, the shortest was 13 months (12-month warranty, figures!). I have bought replacement batteries from other vendors, don't last at all. I had a beautiful APOC SUA1500, Batteries Plus sold me 2 x SLA batteries duct taped together (yes, literally) and they were NOT made for a backup power suppl;y as they stated, leaked, corroded the entire inside of my very expensive unit! I certainly regret that decision! Batteries Plus said they had the APC batteries, but when I got to the store they did not, ordering them, would take a long time, so I tried their option - will NEVER shop at Batteries Plus again! Just yesterday I had one APC battery die. Bought new unit Dec 17, 2017, today is March 31, 2020. Just over 3 years, their average. No complaints.
Question:	Does it have ethernet ports
Answer:	No, and generally you'll want to avoid surge protectors or UPS's with built in surge protectors that have multiple ports (i.e. coaxial, Ethernet, phone) since these devices turn on at different voltage levels. So once a surge comes in on the LINE (HOT) side of the AC outlet and the voltage has reached a certain level, the surge will be directed to both the NEUTRAL and the SAFETY GROUND, but as soon as that happens, some of the surge makes it's way into the COAX, ETHERNET, and PHONE ports and if you have something plugged into those ports then it goes into the devices. A recent study (see: http://incompliancemag.com/article/lightning-surge-damage-to-ethernet-and-pots-ports-connected-to-inside-wiring/) confirms this. The best place to secure PHONE, and COAX connections is where they enter the house and where they can have a short (less than 10 foot connection to a buried GROUND ROD). If you secure phone & coax at the service entrance and protect your electronics with Type 3 Surge Protectors you won't need to secure the Ethernet connections.Also, it's not a good idea to rely on the Surge Protector inside a UPS as those have a higher clamping voltage generally in the 650-800 Volt range and that means until the voltage reaches 800 volts, your electronics is getting zapped. You can't plug a UPS with an MOV surge protector into an existing MOV based surge protector for compliance (safety) issues, but you can plug a UPS with an MOV surge protector or an MOV surge protector into a Series Mode filter since the filter does not rely on sacrificial MOV's. The Series Mode filter starts to work at 121.4 VAC on a 120 VAC line and it totally eliminates the surge instead of diverting it and hoping the surge can make it's way back through your house wiring to the buried ground rod from the main electrical panel.

I have seen AC powered mattress pups, the kind that would normally plug into a standard wall outlet, and DC powered pumps, the kind that you'd plug into a 12v outlet in a car. This battery pack will run an AC pump, with the outlet on the top, as long as it's not a 3-prong outlet. (I've never seen an air mattress pump that has a 3-prong plug on it.) If you have a pump that normally plugs into the 12v (cigarette lighter) plug in a car, then no, this will not connect to it. I hope this helps!

Answer:	I cannot tell. I have had one for a year and it holds the charge very well, so it has only been fully charged twice.

Answer:	No, not even close. The Halo Bolt simply does not have the battery capacity to charge a large 12V deep cycle battery. Let's compare its capacity to just 1 deep cycle 100 amp hour (Ah) battery. The Halo Bolt has a capacity of 58.8 watt hours (Wh), equivalent to 4.9 amp hours (Ah) @ 12V. Basically the 100 Ah deep cycle battery has 20.4 times the capacity of the Halo Bolt. You could look into solar options. YouTube channel "DIY Solar with Will Prowse" is a good resource. If you are looking for an all in one solution, you could consider the "MaxOak Bluetti Power Station 2400 Wh/1000W Inverter" for $2,000 on Amazon. It is very large and weighs 48 lbs. It can run a 200 watt device for 10.2 hours. There are also many other smaller options on Amazon. You could also get an inverter generator instead of a typical generator. Inverter generators are more efficient and run quieter. Hope all this helps.
Question:	how long will this run a 55 watt max fan for
Answer:	The Halo bolt has a capacity of 58.8 watt hours (Wh). The 115V AC inverter would have an efficiency of around 80%. Your device requires 55 watts to run. Therefore (58.8 Wh * .80) / 55 watt device = 0.86 hours, or 51 minutes of runtime. Not a lot of runtime. You could consider a much larger power station (aka solar generator). For example I own a Honda/Jackery 290 power station. It has 292 watt hours (Wh) of capacity, and a 200 watt pure sine wave AC inverter outlet. This is basically 5 times the battery capacity of the Halo Bolt. Though it does weigh 6.6 lbs and costs $300 on Amazon. Also it is not TSA compliant, nor does it jump start cars. Let's plug in the numbers for the Honda/Jackery 290 with 292 Wh of capacity. Its pure sine wave AC inverter would be around 85% efficient. Basically (292 Wh * .85) / 55 watt device = 4.5 hours of runtime. Hope this helps.
Question:	Is this TSA approved in carry-on bags
Answer:	If you look at the current TSA guidelines (the Halo website has a link) batteries less than 100 watt hours may be taken in carry-on luggage and batteries 101-160 watt hours require airline approval. (Lithium batteries may NOT be taken in checked luggage.) This unit is clearly labeled on the box as well as the back of the unit as 58830 mWH. To convert milliwatt hours (mWH) to watt hours simply divide by 1000 (for example: 58830 mWH/1000 = 58.830 watt hours. This unit is just under 59 watt hours and is well under the limit for requiring airline approval. It's possible that someone in TSA might not know the regulations (or how to convert mWH to watt hours) in which case you might need to politely educate them. I'm guessing though that these have been around long enough now that they already know.

Answer:	I can’t speak for the Titans but it should be good. What I can tell you is 2 ASUS 2080Tis overclocked pull every bit of 1000W without factoring in CPU. I’m runnng an overclocked 9940X and between the GPUs and CPUs when both are loaded it pushes this PSU to its limits. I took someone else’s advice at first when they said a 1000W would cover it so I bought the 1200W and it could not handle the power. While you won’t see too many instances where the CPU on an HEDT PC with two high end GPUs pulling full load at the same time for an extended period it does happen. Ique graph showed output power logging 1500 watts for short peaks and its enough that I had to increase my UPS size from a 1600W to a 2200W because it was hitting overload. It’s all build specific and whether you run stock or overclock it.

On the surge-only side (no battery) it acts as a standard surge protector, meaning it doesn't keep the voltage stable, but hopefully prevents critical spikes that could damage your product. Ideally if lightning were to hit your system it would melt the battery before it hit your computer. On the surge side, it would arc and fry everything from the surge protectors to the wall outlet to whatever is connected to it. So vitals on the battery side: computer, router, printer, monitor. Answer:	Check the wattage of the item you are attempting to charge, If it is greater than 100w (the maximum this unit is capable of) it may be shutting off due to overload protection. I have experienced this while attempting to charge a 180w laptop. Let us know how you get on.
