Does it protect from over heating

Answer:

We’ve used it with Apple Watch charging and an iPad or iPhone charging simultaneously many times with no issues. We’ve also had it charging simultaneously with a USB A cord charging an iPhone, Apple Watch charging, and an iPhone charging on the attached lightening connector... no issues. Lastly, when traveling, we had it attached to an outlet so the power bank was charging while charging 3 devices as noted. It was slightly warm but not hot by any means. In the AM, everything was fully charged including the power bank. Hope this helps as I don’t know if internal circuits have protectors to mitigate overheating. I’ll see if I still have the instruction info and if anything is disclosed. Note, the always attached lightening connector is pretty cool and the magnet for the Apple Watch works well.

Answer:	I’m sorry. I don’t understand your reference to “stand by”. I purchased this item as a back up power source for my Apple Watch since we lose power around here frequently. When I received it, it clearly needed charging so I hooked it up until it indicated full. I wasn’t really paying attention as to how long it took , though. Then I put my watch on it to be sure it would charge the watch and left it for a couple of hours as I normally do with the watch’s regular charger. My watch usually drops to about 40% after a day’s use. I received this external power charger on Nov 3, and did the above process the first day. I just checked... the power charger is still fully charged. I did notice the instructions says the battery likes to be drained and fully recharged at least every four months. I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful.. I just wasn’t paying attention to how much time the process took.
