Answer:	They charge at a normal speed. I have used them for a while and don’t find them doing their job slower or faster than my other charging plugs.

Answer:	Most transformers will get hot using both plugs or to full capacity. I've had mine for maybe 5-6 months and it's never gotten too hot.
