Answer:	I'm not sure, however, with help in determining the land types I think it might work. You are basically building your planet and putting different land types together or apart depending on what animals you are trying to acquire. Its a fun game and pretty straight forward. The shapes on the individual playing pieces have color but I think by looking at the shapes you may be able to determine the land without the color mattering to much.

Answer:	Just got Forbiddon Desert and played with my 6 year old. It's a cooperative game which is a good idea so that not all board games are competitive with 5 to 8 year olds. Forbidden Island is its sister game but seems harder as spaces disappear and in Forbidden Desert sometimes the storm doesn't do much damage to the tiles. I am looking for more cooperative games like Castle Panic. My kid likes Labyrinth probably most of all of the small collection of board games I got for him. Sleeping Queens card game is good. He seems to occasionally like to play Catan Jr., but Its simplified for adults, so I would pass on this one. He is good with KingDomino but I don't require him to keep within a 5x5 grid. You can get regular Carcassone and not use the farmers, but my kid doesn't care for it yet. I haven't got Qwirkle yet but it's probably up there for this age group. The Sushi Go/Party line is tempting but I am thinking age 7 to start playing.

Using instruction:
