Answer:	Yes, it would more than accommodate 30 fire's. It's perfect for chromebooks which are thinner then traditional laptops. My older (2014) Macbook Pro fits in each slot perfect as well. The thickness of anything you put in each slot should be less then 3/4 of an inch. Anything thicker wouldn't work... Hope this helps.
