Answer:	Yes, the input voltage of this wall charger is AC 100-240V. It will work with the appropriate adapter by converting by itself overseas.

Answer:	Took it to Thailand November last year. Put a cheap (10 baht, 35 cent US) power plug adapter on it. It worked fine on 220v, just as the specifications stated. I charged cameras, battery packs, phones and tablets simultaneously. I am still using it in the USA.

Answer:	I only have the 60W 6 port so the only comparison I can do is based on specifications. Looks like as well as the extra port, the 6 port offers a total of 60 watts of power compared to 40 watts for the 5 port. I use mne to charge GoPro cameras and remotes.

Answer:	I don't think it has a surge protector. I connected mine into a power strip with a surge protector. I don't know the joule rating of the power strip off hand. So far so good, also you need to use good quality cords to charge properly.

Answer:	If it uses a standard USB port on the older iPad, I'd say yes. I have a Galaxy Tab 2 which is a few years old, and it uses a proprietary cable. But it has a standard USB port that plugs into and it works beautifully.

Answer:	All ports are capable of 2.4A, however, the charger has a max of 12A. The charger will determine each devices charging ability which may be less than 2.4A. This charger will charge any device from any port, where other chargers have specific ports for set charging rates. At the end of the day this charger averages 2A per USB port, so it can handle 5 high power devices & the 6th would charge at 1A.

Question:	What does it mean by 'not compatible with qualcomm quick charge? What is that
Answer:	After testing with a meter in line, this model is identical to the previous models of 2 years ago! The older models had a green bar when charging. Newer model is round blue circle which does not change when charging, stays blue. I believe there will be no change on color light once charging cycle complete. Here are the charging stats with short high quality USB to Micro Cord. 4.86 Volts, 1.98 Amps (not 4.8 on single charging cord!) and 9.50 Watts. Far off from the advertised 24 watts and with only 2 ports, even if it achieved 4.8 watts x2 = 9.6 watts combined. Again, not close to 24 watts advertised. Would not consider it any different from the older model from 2 years ago. With the exception of the constant blue circle, when compared to old model, blue when plugged in and green during charging cycle. Glad I have 3 spares of the older model before discontinued as I prefer the blue then green when charging. Easier to monitor. Again, the stats are almost identical between old and new and off from what is advertised. Buy yourself one of the $20 meters on Amazon that provides stats of charger and when you are charging a device. You will be able to monitor the charging cycle start to finish and know which chargers are similar to a simple wall plug.

Answer:	Which skills are you trying to operate? This device is “Alexa enabled”, not completely Alexa. This is common with all “Enabled” devices vs actual Alexa devices.

Answer:	tried this device twice, several months apart, sent back both times. Nice idea poor execution.

Answer:	I guess it would be considered soft. It is soft, but rigid. It’s not like the flimsy gel-like cases you see. Maybe best described as medium range with regards to firmness. This one stays on well and provides a great buffer on edges. This is the case my entire family uses. It allows phone to keep its slim profile for most part, while allowing normal functions to be used without difficulty.

Question:	I see that several other anker devices are ul certified but this one is not. is this a mistake? is this 10 port device ul certified
Answer:	How can a product that is not CSA, UL, cUL or ETL certified be sold in North America? Contact your insurance company to ask if you have a fire or safety issue due to such a non-compliant and non-certified widget, will they cover the insurance? The answer is no, they will not. Amazon is slipping. This just means that any product made by anyone can submit for CE or FCC testing, both are not difficult to obtain from accredited test houses but are not stringent like the other standards. ETL is an estimated $10k-$50k USD for compliance testing.
Question:	Am I correct in assuming this will support the kindle fire hd
Answer:	This device can output as much as 2.4 Amps, or 12 watts maximum, per port. I believe the Kindle Fire HD requires only 1.8 Amps (9 watts), so this unit should be able to charge it at maximum speed. Note that you would not be able to charge ten Kindle Fires at the same time, as that could potentially require 90W, but it would work for several tablets and a bunch of phones at the same time. I've used mine with 3 tablets, 3 phones, and an external battery charging at the same time with no problem.

Answer:	This is not a USB hub. It is intended to provide power outputs only. You will not be able to use it to provide additional USB connection ports for a device. This Anker product provides up to 2.4 amps per port (max 12 amps total), so it should be able to handle a good mix of ten tablets, phones, and other devices, or up to 5 full size iPads at once. I've been using mine for a few months now, and it still deserves my 5 star review.Note that if you are planning to use a USB hub (not this product) for charging, the standard USB 2.0 spec provides for only 500 ma (one half amp) per port power output, while the USB 3.0 spec provides for 900ma (0.9 amps). For comparison, an iPhone is looking for 1 amp to charge at full speed, while an iPad wants 2.1 amps, so a hub will likely be inadequate for your charging needs, and may even shut down if you try to use it that way. I would not recommend any hub product if your primary need is multi-port charging.
