Answer:	Mine caught on fire with a little 1500 watt space heater, and to compare, my hair dryer is 1875 watts (not plugged into a smart plug of course), so it doesn't take much for these to catch on fire. Answer:	Two parts to this answer... First, yes it retains it's settings if the power is off or it's unplugged. Second, I powered on my lamp then unplugged the unit from the wall. Upon plugging it back in after a couple seconds it turned itself back on (the last state it was in) and within a few more seconds re-connected to my wifi network.Hope this answers peoples questions about power outages and operation...

Answer:	Yes, a very conviently located switch. It's on the side where the wire goes into the plugs.

Answer:	I just purchased the 6 foot cord model (which the cord is only 5'3"). If you mount it, you will have to turn it upside down to mount it. The on/off button will be on the bottom which could be a problem. Also, all your cords will have to be turned upside down. I have 5 other Belkin models and none of them are like this one when it comes to mounting. I am sending it back.

Answer:	The 6', BE106000-06R, plug is rotatable and lays flat, both shown in the current photo. People need to realize that the products under this listing keep changing, where the product that one is asking about could very well be a different one than the person answering had previously bought.
Question:	What is the watt or amp rating
Answer:	The rating on this strip is 1875 watts/15 amps. I do know that recently mine handled about 1000 watts for an entire night without shutting down or self-destructing. I think they made several improvements to this power strip/surge suppressor before I bought mine but it has been in service for about a year now with an air conditioner drawing 700 watts all summer and a heater using either 600 or 900 watts and a humidifier drawing about 30 watts for basically two winters. Seeing reports of the plug that goes to the wall outlet melting I have kept an eye on mine and don't see where it has burned at least to this point.

Answer:	You can certainly plug a power strip into this device, and in fact I recommend to plug a surge protection power strip into this device for more than one stage of protection (see my review I posted with pictures). Anything you would normally plug into a wall outlet can be plugged into this Bellkin device: just don't exceed the wall outlet's limit (typically a 15 amp max).

Answer:	Hi David, unlike your house I do have 3 pronged outlets. I know you could get the juice to flow by uasing a 2 into 3 prong converter (mostly gray in color) and are cheap to purchase....BUT I AM NOT sure about the surge protection working, I would call Belkin....

Answer:	No. The one I have has a protected light and a grounded light but no reset button.
