Answer:	Sorry, its spring loaded, and the two ends open to fit the iPhone or other similar smart phone. This allows for it to fit many different sizes. It also allows for mounting horizontally or vertically on a tripod. The spring, and a rubber grip does a very good job of holding the smart phone in a secure position. I am very picky and am very satisfied with this device. It is very well designed and built. And simple. I am an amateur photographer and a retired engineer. Question:	Do I have to purchase anything separately to use with a tripod
Answer:	It does not say size of screwdriver or torx at the immediate top, looking down at handle. But it says it on the side of the screwdriver about a 1" to 1 1/2" down on a diagonal upward slant. I have Macto Screwdrivers in my personal shop, but at work I got these and so far impressed with the quality. I wouldn't be going around hammering the end of it, but they are solid for their use.
