Answer:	You should not have a problem with heat slowing the phone down. I had that happen to me once and I'm a field tech. I also point the vents at the roof of my car which evenly distributes the air and diverts away from the phone. These big mounts usually prevent the phone from getting too hot too. However, I'm in TX and I can't use a windshield mount. The mount will melt right off the suction cup in a matter of several months and I'm stuck buying another one.

It is the first holder I've found that fits my iPhone6 inside of a Mophie battery case, and holds it snugly while driving. iPhone5 is about the same size as a 6, as I recall. Answer:	The knife is made in Taiwan from a single billet of 1070 carbon steel and pings to a hardness of 56 HRc (as tested in my metrology lab). The sheath is made in China and is of inferior quality as compared to the knife. But don't let the poor quality sheath prevent you from purchasing the knife. The knife is exceptional.
