Answer:	I don’t know what MagSafe is but if you can place one or two of the enclosed plates either on the surface of the phone or case’s backside, the holder’s magnet is likely to be powerful enough to hold it securely. Mine works great when no others were up to it.

Answer:	I’ve purchased both. I prefer this because you can manually tighten where it connects to the vent. The other unit loosens after months of use and eventually falls off when driving over bumps. I also like how this isn’t flush with the vent. I’ve had my iPhone give a warning about being too hot when using the heater.

Answer:	Wireless charge and likely Samsung Pay, yes they can. It depends on where you place it. What I did for my phone was find out online where the charge receiver was on the phone's back, and then positioned two metal plates horizontally right below it. In my case, it was towards the top, so plenty of room for both. If they don't hold well enough for you, you can buy thicker plates on Amazon.

Answer:	I'd like to answer this as I'm in Mesa. If the product has a failure on a 70 degree day it won't even be close for Arizona. We have had OVER 50 days this summer over 110 degrees. In direct sunlight inside a vehicle we are hitting 125+ degrees. Sadly I cannot answer this question as the adhesive is so strong I literally cannot peel the red 3M sticker off the mount to be able to mount it. I can tell you from playing with it in my hand that I mounted the plate (loosely) inside my Note 10+ Case and I can still wirelessly charge. So if I can ever get the damn sticker off I can actually tell you and answer. IF I can get the adhesive off I may actually order #2 and install them side by side as the way I have the plate installed inside my case to allow wireless charging at home makes the system top heavy and prone to sliding (under my hand held simulations).

Answer:	Old question but I have had mine for over 2 years in 3 vehicles in south texas with no issues. 3 summers with month and a half long stretches of at or over 100 degrees every day.

Answer:	I have purchased four of these. I have purchased this SKU both from a brick and mortar retailer and from Amazon. I am 99% certain the B stands for "box" not black, since all of the MAGDMs are black. If you purchase this SKU from a brick and mortar store, it will come packaged in a HORRIBLE plastic blister pack that is EXTREMELY hard to open. If you purchase this from amazon it comes in a 100% recyclable chipboard box with minimal extra paper as well.
Question:	Does the adhesive mount have to be mounted on a complety smooth surface, or is the adhesive pad sticky enough to adhere to semi-textured surface
Answer:	I purchased mine for my school bus (we have to be completely hands free). First I cleaned the area with warm water and dried it with a paper towel. Waited about 30 minutes and cleaned the same area with alcohol pads. Allowed the area to dry and placed the (adhesive) mount and held it for a few minutes to secure it. I have used it for 6 months of road trips (2 hours or more) and a couple of long distance trips (4 hours or more) I have an LG V10 and although I didn't stick the pads on the phone I did place then inside the cover and it hold extremely well. Make sure you clean the area you're placing the mount with alcohol to ensure a strong hold.... School Buses have very bumpy dash areas and this is PERFECT!!!! I have recently ordered 3 more of these for my personal vehicles and for a friends birthday gift! 😄

Answer:	I googled your phone and it looks like it has room to attach one of the magnets so I'd assume it'll work just fine. If you have a case on your phone just make sure you've got room for a magnet - they include magnets of different styles with cutouts to accommodate cameras lenses and the like. Good luck!

There is one extra 3M adhesive sticker for replacement. The long-term durability of adhesive depends on many factors, e.g. phone case material, temperature, weight of device, etc.

- If I wanted to remove it, how would I do that?

Apply a few drops of alcohol to loosen the adhesive, then run some string, or floss underneath the mount to break the adhesion.

- Can I remove the mounting tape without ruining my cars interior?

Use an alcohol wipe to remove the adhesive remains, in a back and forth motion until completely clean.

- Can I affix my phone horizontally?

Yes, devices can be supported both vertically, and horizontally.
