Answer:	Sure, if it's an Asus ROG, like the past generation, the actual generation is bulkier (I've had both), so sure it'll fit with no problems. (Laptop pocket is 16.5x12.6x1.97)

Answer:	Unless the textbooks are huge, then yes. The Keyboard has to be shorter than 18" though. I ended up getting a CoolerMaster keyboard (http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-Stealth-Mechanical/dp/B00C2MBG02/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1404331426&sr=8-5&keywords=coolermaster+keyboard). You should be able to fit a large textbook or 2 in the center panel, and a smaller one in the outer one.If I put the power supply in the front panel I can fit 2 reams of paper into the center section where the keyboard and mouse pockets are. The reams of paper are too wide to fit into the front pocket.UPDATED 7/3/2014 - You can fit 2 reams of paper and the power brick. One ream will go in front of the pocket for the power brick and the other will sit on top of it which will leave the front section open for misc smaller items like a tablet, e-reader, external HDD etc.
Question:	is the outer material water resistant /water repellent i do not mean water proof
Answer:	The outer material is water resistant. I just tested it and water ran right off while pouring from a cup. However, the zipper cloth is not. Dripping water on the zipper, it soaks the water in. There are flaps inside the zipper, but the water soaks into that inner material. With "enough" water on that area, your stuff will get wet. There is no outer protective flap over the zipper. If you were going from a parking lot to a building in the rain, I'd say you're fine. If you were hiking for more than a minute in anything more than a steady rain, your stuff could get a bit wet. Scotch guarding the zipper cloth could be an option, but I don't know if that would do much since the zippers are so exposed. Good luck.
