How To Use It

1. Cleaning the surface - Prepare the target surface to be clean and dry. The smoother the surface, the easier it is to transfer the vinyl.
2. Design using a cutter - Place it on a cutting pad with a sticky back, adjust the ideal size and cut the design through the cutter.
3. Remove the work - Remove the letters/graphics that have been cut on the board.
4. Smear transfer paper - Gently place the tape on the cut vinyl surface. Use a spatula to ensure that the transfer tape is adhered to the vinyl and tight.
5. Paste - Slowly attach it to a new clean, dry surface.
6. Remove the transfer paper - Carefully wipe the scotch tape to ensure a firm adhesion to the vinyl.

This Heat Transfer Vinyl pack comes with 12 inch x12 feet a roll. Use vinyl cutters and mat boards to create and weed your own custom designs for clothing and other fabric projects.

Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) is best used on cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, Wash and iron material before applying. Be sure to apply vinyl-side down,

pressed against the fabric, with the paper backing facing up. Then use an iron or heat press on maximum heat, usually 302℉(150℃)/10s or 330℉(165℃)/ 5s to apply. Do not use steam. Press firmly for on each area of the design. Wait 24 hours before washing. Wash inside out with cold water,

gentle cycle. Low-heat tumble dry or air dry.T his will allow for repeated washings and prevent peeling and cracks

Question:	Can you laser cut this material
Answer:	I have not tried to make laser cuts with that material, but, as I understand if it is not bright it could be cut, you should only lower the intensity of the laser for such a thin material
Question:	What is the best temperature and peel technique to use because 305 and hot peel isn’t it
Answer:	It almost always depends on the textile on which you are going to put the self-adhesive, so there are some that need 305 306 and others that need 302, but for a longer time the application time should be about 6 seconds. After peeling apply pure heat about 4 more seconds.
Question:	Any issues with this pealing? I have issues with the vinyl pealing after one wash
Answer:	I use heat press and haven't had issues with peeling.
Question:	Are most of vinyl made for heat transfers
Answer:	Some are adhesive vinyls and some are HTV (heat transfer vinyl). You need to make sure that you only use HTV for apparel and heat application. If you use adhesive vinyl it will melt the vinyl and ruin your iron or heat press.

Answer:	I've not used it on wood but it shoukd be ok
Question:	Can this be used on cups and mugs and put in the dishwasher? Do you need to use a mug/cup heat press to ensure it will remain permanent
Answer:	You need to seal cups/mugs to make them dishwasher safe with epoxy! This isn’t htv so you can’t use a heat press on it or it will melt. And even then you need to seal it with epoxy! I hope this helps!
Question:	Can this be used on the back of the boat as a logo/name
Answer:	No. This would be for regular vehicle use or out of water. I would advise using 951 marine grade for boats or similar aquatic types. The marine grade holds up in water and pools.

Answer:	It may work but most of these are glossy so it might smear. I personally wouldn't.

Answer:	This does not include transfer tape. I would also add that it is not the best vinyl for very intricate designs. It is very hard to weed and I have problems getting it onto transfer tape and then sticking to whatever project i’m doing. I mainly have been using it as test vinyl before I cut it out of a better quality vinyl.
