9 best the 50 s

The 1950s, often referred to as the "50s," was a significant decade in the history of pop culture, music, and the development of audio recording formats like CDs and vinyl records.

Pop Culture in the 1950s:

  1. Rock 'n' Roll: The 1950s saw the emergence of rock 'n' roll music, with artists like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, and Little Richard gaining immense popularity. Rock 'n' roll represented a fusion of rhythm and blues with country music and had a profound impact on youth culture.

  2. Television: Television became a dominant medium for entertainment and information during the 1950s. It brought iconic shows like "I Love Lucy," "The Ed Sullivan Show," and "The Twilight Zone" into households across America.

  3. Fashion: The 1950s are known for their distinct fashion styles, including poodle skirts, bobby socks, and the emergence of youth fashion trends. The decade's fashion was heavily influenced by celebrities and popular culture.

  4. Cars and Consumerism: The 1950s witnessed a booming economy and a surge in consumerism. It was the era of the classic American automobile, with car companies like Ford, Chevrolet, and Chrysler producing iconic models.

Audio Recording Formats in the 1950s:

  1. Vinyl Records: Vinyl records were the primary medium for listening to music during the 1950s. They were made of vinyl (usually 45 RPM singles or 33 1/3 RPM LPs) and played on record players with a needle. Artists like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Buddy Holly released their music on vinyl records.

  2. CDs (Compact Discs): CDs, which became prevalent in the 1980s and 1990s, did not exist in the 1950s.The compact disc format was developed much later, replacing vinyl records and cassette tapes as the dominant audio format in the late 20th century and early 21st century.

It's important to note that while vinyl records were popular in the 1950s, they experienced a resurgence in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, with many music enthusiasts and collectors embracing them for their nostalgic and analog sound qualities. CDs, on the other hand, came into prominence several decades later with advancements in digital audio technology.

User questions & answers

Question: I am 5ft 2 in. weigh 154 and am a 38d. what size should i get
Answer: I'm 5'5" about 140 and wear a 34dd bra and I got the XL because the Large didn't fit right. The sizes run small, in my opinion. From the bra size to the body.
Question: Im 5'6", around 190, and wear a 38d bra. Which is the size for me
Answer: Yes. Tummy and love handles But remember it runs very small, I normally am a small/medium and I bought an XL in this suit.
Question: Does this hold in love handles? I want my love handles to be less visible and more smooth looking in my suit
Answer: 2xl most likely. Being 5'6 the torso is going to be a little short, but the next size would probably be too big, specialy the cup size. I am 5.2 160 lbs, 36 C. 2xl was just fine except that I would have like it to be longer (torso wise). Good luck!
Question: im 5'6 170-180 bra size 36C what size should i get
Answer: I usually use Large and the Large size of this jacket fits well. I don't suggest an increase in the size unless you wear a small size too tight

User questions & answers

Question: is this 2.0a and support HDR
Answer: Yes, I have a 20ft cable running from Apple TV 4K to LG C9 OLED and It recognizes/passes Dolby Vision. The 28gb Monster Cable did not. I am very pleased with the price to quality ratio of this cable and would recommend it to a friend.
Question: Does this support Dolby vision
Answer: Yes. I use it with Apple TV 4K and Dolby vision and Dolby atmos
Question: Does it Support 4K@60Hz
Answer: Change your settings. There are some 4K TV HDMI function factory settings that do not have all the features of the HDMI 2.0 version. You need to enable all HDMI 2.0 features in your TV settings by yourselves, such brand as TCL, Sony, Sharp, etc. These TV could have all the features of HDMI 2.0 after enabled in setting and also could watch 4K 60hz (HDR10, Dolby Vision, HDCP2.2). The HDCP 2.2 is not defaulted, be sure to go into settings and change it, please refer to the first Top rated review. Sony and sharp TV, find and switch to "Enhanced HDMI" in the TV settings menu. TCL and Hisense, find and switch to "HDMI 2.0" in the TV settings menu. LG and Samsung part of the TV, find and open "HDR" in the TV settings menu.
Question: Is this an "high-speed" hdmi cable? i've tried it on my sony 4k tv and it doesn't work on enhanced mode... only on normal mode
Answer: I would go with an XL. I am 5ft 4in weight 190# and 38D. I got a 3XL and it is perfect.

User questions & answers

Question: Will this work with blue tooth speakers
Answer: No. It does not.
Question: How loud is the sound
Answer: It depends on how loud you want it. I think it has a good range. We live in a small ranch style house and I turn it up while cleaning and am able to enjoy it, or I have it on for background noise while cooking. I really love this player. For the money and for as simple as a model it is, I really recommend it.
Question: Can you record cd onto usb drive? can you play music from a usb drive
Answer: No to both. The recording software gets installed on a computer, which is connected via USB cable to the Victrola. The CD player on the Victrola not a CDRW. There is no place to plug a USB drive on the Victrola, the USB output for a computer (with the recording software) is not a standard USB, it's like the end that plugs into a printer (type B?).
Question: can the stylus be replaced
Answer: I believe you can replace the stylus. a if you look closely near the stylus you can see the red plastic piece with the stylus. These are replaceable and sold on amazon as well.
