Answer:	no it was not sharp to me atleast

Answer:	It's one solid blade and the handle is one piece of wood. Rather than being pinned into place, the blade is glued in.

Answer:	It is super heavy. The blade and hilt are both solud metal. The sheath leaves something to be desired. The only issue is that the blade may fall out of the handle so you may need to glue it down. Overall it is a beautiful sword thats pretty sturdy with an exception to the adhesive used to hold the blade in the handle.

Answer:	I wouldn't unless you have a reasonable amount of experience sharpening dull edges like those found on any replica blade or you will destroy the turquoise-ish paint... but yeah, the metal is the real deal, high quality, high carbon... so if you're determined but want to keep the look of the blade, I would say take the time to do it by hand and make sure you have the upper body strength to not cut off your or a nearby someones foot upon unsheathing it because it's rather thick and slightly unbalanced (as most replicas are).

Answer:	no, its reasonably study. The handle might not take very well in an 'actual' sword fight, but barring that, its pretty solid. Blade is metal (don't know what the colored part is made out of), and I'm assuming the handle is wooden(?). Either way, I was quite satisfied with how "real" it looks and feels

BUT, it can be sharpened, I've purchased 2 of these swords now for gifts, and I was able to put a really good edge on it with one of those cheap knife sharpeners, it's a really good inexpensive sword,I don't know if it will break during actual combat, but it holds up well enough to bamboo, watermelons, and what have you
