Answer:	Easy. Sterilize beforehand with rubbing alcohol. Once the post is through the piercing from inside back of the lip it will stick out, hold the post in place with tongue as you fasten the gem head that screws into post and it will stay in place until you decide to change the gem head.

Answer:	I use 8mm, but I like some wiggle room. I could probably fit a 6mm.
