Answer:	I don't have an induction stove. But i would imagine it works just fine.But don't have one so not 100% on it .

Step 1

Answer:	Yes, it is flat bottom however this dropped on the floor and the handle and whistle broke. Where is this made?

Question:	Is there aluminum inside the pot where the water is heated? Is the aluminum just on the outside bottom
Answer:	No it is not, however, love that retro look! Just the right size for a couple cups of tea, no more microwaving water that goes cold faster than you can drink it, old fashioned boiling water with a kettle stays hotter longer. After going modern since they invented microwaves, I go now for the retro anytime. Call me traditionalist and old fashioned, just love this heavy stainless steel kettle, no more aluminum for me!

Answer:	I have not heard any kind of whistle from this kettle, but this kettle has a thick base. The flip top cover on the spout is really neat for those who have pets. It prevents pet hair and dander in the air (you know this happens!) from settling inside your kettle and water when closed or when kettle is left stored on top of stove when not in use like I do. This kettle is also decorative, if you like the retro look. The top lid is also set in just tight enough that it won't fall off when pouring unlike some other kettles where I have to fish out the top out of my tea cup, really hate doing that. Still no whistle, though. Can you tell I really love this kettle even without the whistle?

Answer:	Yes it whistles. Just make sure you fill the kettle past the pouring spout opening on the inside. Otherwise the steam will escape through the spout and not whistle. The steam has to be forced though the lid where the whistle is.
