Timer Setting:

Answer:	The BBQ pit is a rectangular (I imagine it is to help accommodate the rack and most cut of meats;)whereas the crockpots are round. and the cooking pot is a tiny bit shallower (at least against my crockpot) but the cover arches so there is more space. If you want more specifities, there is also a small channel around the cooking area that will allow some of the grease to drain and not be on the food.Is it worth it? To me it is not. You can do the same thing with a large crockpot if you can find a circular rack for a lot less money than what they want for this. I am sure out there in the vast industry of the kitchen utensil there is someone selling a circular rack that will fit in most crockpots (if not there should be)
