Answer:	If you live in a damp climate, it helps dry up your lungs. a bowl of salt wouldn't capture enough of the salt in the air. the shape of this is what captures the ionized salt in the air. If you live in a dry climate, I would recommend inhaling mist. I have terrible allergies, and these tactics have helped!

Answer:	VERY long time. I am still using the same one and it has been months. A two pack will probably last me all year unless I loose one.

Answer:	I do like this product and it does wake my brain up from being so sleepy from Sinus congestion. My only complain is that if you snort really hard, you will end up getting bits of salt going up your nose and it is unpleasant burning feeling until you blow it out of your nasal passages. The smell is nice but it doesn't seem to help long term like clearing up congestion and keeping nasal passages open for a period of time. However, it is a natural product and perhaps the salts kills the bacteria that could be harboring an impending infection.

Answer:	Hi. Yes and no. This item is not really designed to be refilled. But there is a flat cap on the bottom (below the ridged part). You could probably pry that off and then add some oils, but it won't come off easily.

Answer:	This salt is from the Himalayan mountains, where also the himalayan pink salt comes from. When the salt is fine, it tends to have a bit of a reddish tone to it, but when the salt is coarse, the color is a lot darker. So the color varies depending on what texture you purchase. Kala Namak does translate into "black salt", but the color is not as black as our hawaiian black lava salt.
