Answer:	in my opinion Osprey makes excellent, well thought out products, designed to be very functional and durable. Having said that, like anything else, the luggage is designed to take only so much abuse and then will fail. If it’s treated with reasonable care it will last you a long time.

Answer:	Not sure about the dimensions provided vs the actual ones, but every time I've checked this thing it's been stuffed to max capacity, on both domestic and international flights, and have never even had the dimensions questioned. Weight yes; dimensions no...

Answer:	There are at least two compartments that are lockable.
Question:	My tree is small about 5 1/2 feet is this too big
Answer:	It doesn't collapse completely flat - aside from the frame you can smash it pretty flat. The frame at the bottom doesn't smash down.
