Question:	Can you use essential oils in this unit
Answer:	No you can not! I learned the hard way by doing so. I had a bad cold and I put some Eucalyptus oil in the water tank with the water. What it ended up doing is warping the plastic opening and after about 2 uses after, the cap just fell apart so I had to throw that away. I can still use it, but I have to add the water by hand.

Answer:	I use mine everyday so at least couple of times a week, I make sure I unplug it, turn it upside down in the sink, then place it on a towel. I make sure all the components (3 of them; the body, top part, and the little water container) get dry. Package says once in a while to make sure there is no buildup to put couple of drop of clear vinegar in it and use it. hope this helps :)

Answer:	The minimum depth, that is the minimum thickness of the surface to which you are mounting it is, by my measurement, 15/32. However, it attaches with a big plastic ring or "nut". So, by turning the ring backwards, it could mount on any depth down to zero. On a vanity top you should have no issues with it.

Answer:	As long as you don't put water in it. Water will dissolve the salt stone... you can use a small electric frying pan and add small amount of base oil, place your salt stone in. use on low setting (save you the expense)
