Answer:	If installed correctly they will work with any type of bed frame. Get an experience furniture person to do the installation. My brother worked for years with a designer installing furniture. He knows the ins and out of what will and will not work. I only use him when i need that type of work done.

Answer:	I cannot give you the exact measurements but I built a king size platform bed frame and the slats were adjustable and even for a king size frame there was still I would estimate 10 inches of adjustment left in the extended mode. As for the height adjustments I would estimate you can adjust them outward for approximately 15 inches. The slats have two adjustable legs on each slat which makes for a good firm support to the floor. In fact the slats come with an extension piece which I had to remove to shorten the legs to work as I only needed a 7 inch leg height and this was with the legs adjusted way down. So I would summarize that these slats will work on just about any size bed frame up to and including the Cal-King size frames. They are very sturdy and provide good support to the box springs. Answer:	Hi Sally,Even though our bed supports are used primarily on wooden frames/side rails, it is because the majority of the beds that are out there today are made from wood. We have had a number of customers over the years that have adapted their metal bed frame to work just fine with our Universal Bed Supports. The hole at the end of my support rail is approx. 7/32nds inch with the next size drill bit down is 13/64ths inch. I would highly recommend that you use a lock washer along with the proper size nut at the end of the bolt to keep it from loosening up over time.
