STEP 1: CLEAN SURFACE

Make sure to thoroughly clean surface to remove any dirt. After cleaning, dry the surface with a dry towel. See above for recommended surfaces (the smoother the surface the better the suction cup will stick).

STEP 2: PUT IN PLACE

Lightly wet the bottom of the suction cup to create a good seal. Make sure the suction is set to the unlocked position. Then, put it in the desired location. The suction cup might not stick right away so keep constant pressure on it until the next step.

STEP 3: LOCK SUCTION CUP

While applying pressure, lock the suction cup in place by rotating the white ring around the base clockwise. If the mirror does not stick then try again carefully cleaning the surface and applying more pressure when locking. Over time the suction cup will slowly let air back in, just give it a good push every once in a while to keep it in place.

REMOVING

Removal is even simpler. Simply untwist the lock by rotating the white ring counter-clockwise. The suction cup should fall off by itself. However, if it doesn't, then simply pull it off by pulling on the small tab on the top.

Answer:	Yes - I’m not sure if it’s a random batch issue, or if it’s a property of the reflective material they’re using instead of glass - but I just got mine a few days ago and it’s clearly a little distorted vs. a real mirror. It’s 100% fine for me to get a quick look of my face in the shower and to touch up the edges of my beard. But I wouldn’t recommend using it to *establish* any straight edges.

Typical shower residue (soap residue, conditioner splatter, moisture, etc.) will impede the adhesion of the hook. * Clean the surface with isopropyl rubbing alcohol, wipe gently, let dry. Do not use household cleaners. Many household cleaners leave behind a very thin layer of residue that affects how strongly the adhesive will bond to the surface. * Once you have cleaned to area you plan to stick the mirror, please allow enough time for this area to completely dry (remember tile is porous and will absorb moisture). This is the main reason that a hook will fail to adhere. Answer:	No but I had to re position the mirror as it was partially out of the frame ( and therefore warped) It clicks back into place. That may be your issue

Question:	My biggest problem with previous brands of fog free mirrors is that they fall off the wall...adhesives and suctions. How does this one hold up
Answer:	I have had no issues with the adhesive hook at all. It is about half a square foot to the bottom right of my shower head. So water doesn't spray on it but it definitely gets on it when I rinse the mirror to get the temp to adjust and defog.The only issue I have is its not reusable so you need to be sure of where you want it. I bought suction cups too to be able to move it sometimes. The suction cups I bought don't hold the mirror because of the condensation and temp change in the air. But thats my fault for thinking they would work. The hook is as good as a 3M adhesive hook for anywhere in the home. Reliable.

Answer:	The lights are fairly bright & there are 2 of them on each side of the rectangle so there's good visibility. The lights in our bathroom do overwhelm the little LEDs so I don't really need the mirror lights so much. The product might be a bit better if it provided some level of magnification.
Question:	Does the mirror attach securly to all types of bathroom tile? The tile in our bathroom is more textured than average, so I'm worried it won't stay
Answer:	We have a smooth hard plastic surface. I had it on the wall for awhile, but it did fall off. Not instantly or anything, but I think the heat and moisture from the showers might play into factor. I really love this mirror and so did my boyfriend. We just haven't found time to scrap the old glue off and reglue it to the wall. It did leave a bit of discoloration on the wall around the glue. I'm sure some soft scrub with bleach will clean it up. The anti-fog coating of our mirror will provide a duration of effectiveness for about 12 months, depends on the users’ environment and care. Please follow the instructions below while using the mirror:

 

1.Install the mirror away from the shower-head to prevent high temperature hot water or high water pressure that may damage the anti-fog coating.

2.Please DO NOT splash hot water on the mirror surface. If there are droplets on the mirror surface, just leave it air dry. DO NOT wipe it with dry towel or hand as it may scratch the anti-fog coating.

 

About the Suction Cups:

Suction cups are suitable on smooth, non-porous surfaces, such as glass, smooth tiles, marble  and mirror. Rough surfaces like mosaic tile, frosted glass and painted wall are not recommended. Surfaces should also be totally free of dirt, soap or water before attaching the suction cup. Please follow these steps for best results:

 

1.Remove the protective film on the mirror surface. Extra cleaning is not needed before use.

2.Press the suction cup firmly in place, making sure there are no air bubbles in between the cup and the mounting surface.

3.Avoid sticking the suction cup on tiles with gap in between.

Answer:	Please find the instruction for your reference, thanks. Remove the dust or dirt from the wall surface with clean before installing the mirror. To achieve best result, press the mirror frame against the wall for 30 seconds. Make sure all air bubbles between the cup and the wall has escaped to create a vacuum. Thanks.
Question:	How do you get all three suction cups to attach at one time
Answer:	My shower wall is flat, so just stick it. But I noticed the cups are positioned so they would all hit an individual tile depending on the tile size. Mine are 4x4.
Question:	If i put it in the shower, will it show signs of rust or mirror issues? Is it 100% stainless stell and glass mirror
Answer:	I've had it in the shower for a month and it still looks brand new. Real test will be after a year or so.

Answer:	Hi there. Thanks for your question. You need to try as best to have the mirror positioned away from the shower head so it doesn't get water on it ideally. The anti-fog spray on the mirror will lose its power if it gets wet all the time. We are going to be bringing out an anti-fog spray bottle to go with the mirror as well. And when we do I will let you know. Thanks
Question:	I placed it this too high up on my shower wall, then took it down while showering, how do I get it to restick
Answer:	Hi there, thanks for your email. If you gently wash the back of the silicone with rubbing alcohol or warm water and soap and let it dry naturally it should go right back up. Alternatively if that doesn't work you can put a stripe of water on the back and then place it and it should grip really well. Hope that helps. Josh

Answer:	Mine fogged up and fell off the wall within a couple days. I guess you get what you pay for...

Answer:	It’s a plastic mirror so I assume it’s foil. It’s been pretty good for us compared to the ones in the past, as far as fogging up. FYI, the shaving cream holder only works on skinny cans, not traditional sized cans. And we have a Gillette razor and the dollar shave club razor. The Gillette Mach 3 works great. The dollar shave club razor has to balance up there and falls sometimes. Hope this helps
Question:	Have you tried rubbing aerosal shave cream on the mirror and washing it off to keep it fog free? It works
Answer:	Yes, I do that & it does work, but it's only temporary. I assumed when I bought a "fog fre" mirror that wouldn't be necessary
