Answer:	Hi, great question! Because of certain delicate features (bottle pocket, etc) we highly recommend hand wash only. If you feel you absolutely *must* toss it into the washer then definitely do so in a washing machine safe bag, alone, cold and gentle cycle.

Answer:	Not lead crystal. Bought this & the Barski qtip holder simultaneously. Qtip holder came with a lead oxide sticker on it & the box. This doesn't have that warning.

Answer:	Not sure what "daily wear & tear" amounts to in your household. In mine it comes into contact with my lips then I rinse it, dry, and replace the stopper. No issues. It's crystal, though, so if you drop it in the sink it wouldn't be surprising if it chips.
