Answer:	We did not find it greasy and shiny but it is thicker than normal lotion. We used it for 10 days in Costa Rica and it worked very well in protecting us from sunburns.

Answer:	Yes, it blocks both. The tube says both UVA and UVB. It also says broad spectrum, zinc-based sun screens are a physical sunscreen which is usually always UVA and UVB.

Answer:	It's making you white like any 50 and more spf cream. But I put a little bit on my face and waiting 10 minutes. When it is well absorbed, I put a napkin on my face and walk along it with my hands, remove napkin from my face and then apply make-up. Question:	Doesn't there have to be some sort of chemical property added or changed for the zinc to go on clear
Answer:	As of 8/24/2019 there aren't any concerning chemical ingredients listed on the tube or the description, but way down the listing page here there is a California Prop 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer. Who knows if that's some unlisted ingredient or maybe due to the packaging, but either way I chose to avoid using and got a refund. Very disappointed as I have been hunting for weeks for safe sunscreen and finally settled on this even though it contains beeswax (not a fan) because it was reasonably priced, clear, and had 'clean' ingredients. But it's unusable and defeats the purpose of using sunscreen if there is a cancer risk.

Answer:	It states it right on the jar itself, MI. Gives you a detailed address and it works great.
Question:	When is the expiration dates on the ointment
Answer:	I bought mine sometimes in Summer 2018 and the expiration is 02/21. I use is 2 times a day on a 95 years old person to prevent pressure users, very satisfied with the result. The cream has great healing properties.
Question:	I am asking sun screen for horse as well, is this NON nano particle zinc ? Thank you for yiur reply
Answer:	contains 20% zinc oxide, parafin, and an ingredient I don't recognize called cetomacrogol 1000. It does not mention nano particles. Warns against using it on large areas of body or serious burns. I use it to prevent diaper rash. has also helped clear up a skin rash of unknown origin. good for poison ivy and poison sumac. Comes out and remains a solid white color. Does not claim to be a sunscreen.
Question:	can this product be used as a sun block
Answer:	Yes, but plain zinc oxide will sit very heavy on the skin. Remember the old photos of life guards with the big patch of white on their nose? The white is zinc oxide ointment but it is more a physical sun block than a chemical one.

Answer:	7.00%, best sunscreen on the market. Doesn't leave you looking like a ghost, goes on and clears. Well worth the money.
Question:	Is this clear or white
Answer:	It is a lightweight, white-colored lotion out of the container which absorbs quickly into the skin and isn't visible within minutes. Having said that, if you sweat immediately after application you can see the white lotion - sweating makes it hard to absorb the lotion (so apply it in a cooler, dry environment, allow it to soak in, and then you should be OK).We just got back from a trip to Bora Bora, with intense sun, and were very impressed at how well the lotion worked (no burning at all), and how good the lotion smells. We will definitely be purchasing this lotion again.
