Answer:	I disagree, I think it DOES leave a residue, but it isn't so thick that it's like white paint on your skin, it just makes your skin look a little paler. It really isn't very noticeable if you rub it in very well. I like the benefits of the formula so much that I don't care, but fyi.
Question:	Does it turn your clothes yellow
Answer:	I used it for a solid week while sailing I. The Bahamas and did not experience any yellowing of my clothes at all.

Question:	Does this sunscreen have propylene glycol in it
Answer:	No, it is completely natural and certified organic. It is basically zinc oxide in a base of several herb and flower oils.
Question:	How long would this bottle probably last for a fairly small child? Like how many applications? Florida vacation coming up
Answer:	This one is a 3oz bottle (look at your toothpaste it's probably 4 or 6) a little goes a long way, it's not liquidy it's pretty thick. If you're at the beach every day for a week with a 2 foot toddler you'd be safe. And it's great for your face and ears too! Have fun!
Question:	Does the sweet smell attract bees
Answer:	Yes! We have had this problem once with a honeybee that kept following us around as we were trying to apply the sunscreen. My daughter was freaked out, but the bee was not aggressive, just persistent! It smells like an orange creamsicle. I switched to the Chamomile scented one for this reason. Will save the orange vanilla for when we are someplace with no bees.
Question:	What is the difference between the baby badger sunscreen and the one for kids ? Which one is better
Answer:	The only difference I could tell was the fragrance of the baby more soothing than the kids. I have both, and prefer the kids because of the smell. But they both work just as well. Badger products are great.

Question:	When does this expire
Answer:	There is no expiration date on the product, but most sun screen is effective for at least a year after opening.
Question:	Would this work well applied to the scalp (part in daughter's hair) vs the cream badger sunscreen
Answer:	The stick is about an inch diameter, so application would definitely get into her hair. Cream would be easier to apply to a narrow area like the part. Also the cream is softer and the stick is stiffer so it doesn't run or wipe off as easily
Question:	Is this greasy? Does it go on clear or leave whiteness
Answer:	Not greasy at all. Badger sunscreens go on very white. The stick is barely noticeable. Much easier to rub in than the full sunscreens.
Question:	Is it tear free
Answer:	This is not a liquid sunscreen. Unless you accidentally put it directly in the eye, I don't believe it will cause tears. When we are done using it, I usually wipe it off with a towel. Great protection, but it is white on your face.

Answer:	I've used both on my kids and I would say that, as with any sunscreen, even with regular use you may have some tanning if you are spending a lot of time in the sun. I used the Think Baby in Hawaii with my extremely pale child and at the end of the week, with lots of sun exposure, he didn't get a single burn but by the end of the week he did have a little more color as is to be expected with as much time we spent in the sun. It stays on extremely well in water and sweat but you will want to reapply according to directions. I've been using this product for about 3 years now and love it.

UVA & UVB Broad-Spectrum

Consumers have been led to believe that ultra-high SPF numbers like 70 and 100 provide much more protection than SPF 30. This is False. SPF 30 provides 97% protection from UVB and SPF 100 provides 99% coverage for UVB. We tell folks if you look at the back of the tube and you see a bunch of words you don’t recognize, you probably don’t want to put that on your skin. It is important that you’re using a truly Broad-spectrum formula that covers UVA and UVB.

Mineral Based Formula

Chemical sunscreens make up the majority of the market unfortunately. They are both cheep and apply clear. Mineral based solutions can cause some amount of whitening during use and are also more expensive. But at what cost is it cheaper? Some mineral base formulations have also taken to using clear zinc or nano particle sized zinc or titanium. We recommend sourcing a non-nano zinc oxide solution. There is just not enough data on the ability for nano particles getting into the blood stream. As such, it is better to embrace the Precautionary Principle.

Water Resistant

There are now three levels of water resistance. Not water resistant, water resistant (40 minutes) and water resistant (80 minutes). We have all become used to seeing words like sweatproof or waterproof. The FDA kicked that terminology out. There are now very specific tests. Keep in mind, that if you’re at the beach or pool that you’ll need to reapply after being in the water. And to achieve the SPF factor of your sunscreen you have to reapply every two hours. One application does not keep you at SPF 50 or whatever is on the sunscreen label. And you should be using about 1oz to cover an adult body.

Tips for Application

1. Be sure to apply all areas that will be exposed to sunlight, including behind the ears, neck, hands, feet, and scalp 15 minutes before sun exposure
2. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, at least every 2 hours
3. While the sunscreen applies very easily, we recommend not spreading it too thin. Otherwise you will decrease the effectiveness of the sunscreen

Why Sunscreen?

The majority of sunscreens currently on the market are full of questionable ingredients and known carcinogens. Simply looking at the ingredients you'll quickly realize you don't recognize any of them. Many existing sunscreens have been brought to market with little concern for their safety. Question:	How do I get rid of the white cast?? I cannot go to work like this
Answer:	Thanks for your message regarding Cerave Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50. Because the ingredients stay on the surface of your skin, a white cast can sometimes remain after applying the product. We suggest applying a small amount in the palm of your hands and rubbing them together. Then, apply to one small area at a time, rubbing well. The formula should apply easily leaving a lightweight, non-greasy feel. Keep in mind, all sunscreens should be applied liberally for sun protection.
