Question:	Does anyone know just how long this tan will last? Or do I just have to keep applying it
Answer:	It’s best to apply daily and keep up with it I’d say it lasts about 2 days maybe 3 max if you don’t apply daily.
Question:	Can you use it on your face
Answer:	I think it depends on your skin type. I have dry skin and tried it, and it clung to dry spots. I was able to fix it by applying my moisturizer and blending out those patches, then washed my face as normal in the morning and applied my daily skincare. After all that, it looks really natural, but it was pretty gross looking before those fixes (like I had dirty age spots!). In general, they say on their website NOT to apply a moisturizer before application or during development, EXCEPT for dry parts of the body (like elbows, knees, hands, and feet), so because my face is dry I’m going to do that next time so it’s not patchy. They also say on their website that it can settle in pores and make them dark, so I’m guessing if you have oily skin that might be a problem, or the tanner will just slick off - they do have a face mist they recommend using instead.
Question:	do i apply lotion before or after
Answer:	Only apply lotion after rinsing the tanning mousse off, not before and not during! I got all the tips below from the FAQs on the b.tan website, which are kinda hard to find (the link is ALL the way at the bottom right of their site); You apply the mousse on clean, exfoliated skin; let it develop for 1-8 hours; then rinse with lukewarm water for 45 seconds, wiping the bronzer/color guide off with your hands - no soap, hot water, or loofahs, as those will also remove the tanning actives, which you want to leave in your skin because they continue to darken the tan for the next 12-24 hours. “...we don't recommend using a moisturizer before rinsing as it may strip the tan before it has developed or react with the product causing discoloration. You can use a moisturizer over drier areas of skin though, as this creates a slight barrier so that less tan builds up in dry skin (think elbows, knees, hands and feet).” However, “Once you've rinsed off the bronzers, you can & we recommend using one daily after tanning for longer lasting results that will fade evenly.” Hope that helps!
Question:	Should i put body lotion on to moisturize after i shower and exfoliate and before i apply the foam? or will that mess it up
Answer:	It could mess it up! The FAQs on the b.tan website state: “...we don't recommend using a moisturizer before rinsing as it may strip the tan before it has developed or react with the product causing discoloration. You can use a moisturizer over drier areas of skin though, as this creates a slight barrier so that less tan builds up in dry skin (think elbows, knees, hands and feet).” However, “Once you've rinsed off the bronzers, you can & we recommend using one daily after tanning for longer lasting results that will fade evenly.” Hope that helps! First up, get naked. Or at least naked enough to tan your super hot bod. Make sure your skin is clean, exfoliated and dry. Apply mousse with your b.tan mitt, wash your hands, wait at least 1 hour and then shower. If you want it crazy dark - double coat it, leave on for 4+ hours.

Question:	does this stuff stink after you apply it
Answer:	Hi! Great question and there are several tips that make for a better, more even tan. 1) Exfoliate your skin before tanning - this will extend the life of your tan 2) If you shave the area you will be tanning, wait a few hours before applying the tanning lotion so your pores don't absorb the product and give you tan dots 3) Apply the product with latex gloves just as you would apply lotion, with an even layer over your skin 4) Apply less product to your feet, knuckles, elbows and hands as these areas absorb more than other spaces. Answer:	I have stopped using all bronzers. It works & looks great but when you stop using it, it looks terrible because it comes off on dead skin cells. So it leaves you blotchy. If you are going to use it constantly it would be ok. As far as it not hurting your face, I would think it is fine. It is not oily or anything.

I tried to return but needed to go directly back to just nutritive and shipping was way to expensive fir the product. I canceled the return and pitched the product! I would not recommend this item!!

Answer:	The face lotion is better used on your face then using the body lotion. The reason is, for me, the body lotion when I did try it on my face clogged my pores. One tip I can give you that works great for me....I use the face tanning lotion over my make-up. If you don't use make-up I would blend it with just a dab of moisturizer...seems to blend into the skin better. Either way this product is great! No streaking at all and you always color to a nice brown.

Answer:	For anyone using this on the face -- I use a tiny bit of CeraVe Moisturizing Cream (any non reacting cream will do, odorless one) put in my palm just a pea size. I break that up in a small circle, then I spray a small amount of the Fake Bake. I swoosh this around with a gloved finger tip to mix it all up then I apply on my face. like a moisturizer. Put in on your face like you would moisturizer and be quick but through but also don't rub it in roughly. Use light strokes try to remember your tanning where the sun would actually hit you, this isn't make up so if you are going to miss the hair line some if you're using the fake back mixed with moisturizer, it's not going to be so severe.. Good luck---from a fake baker of many years who always fake bakes a face as well.

Answer:	Yes I am a natural red head with fair skin and freckles.This product not only smells amazing fresh and tropical, it is so easy and quick to apply it dries fast and IS NOT ORANGE it really is streak free. Its hydrating, it definitely makes a difference but it looks so natural. The best self tanner I've ever used!

Answer:	I use it on my face. I use this stuff two days In a row once a week. when I use this on my face I do my whole body first and what's ever left on the mit I blend in my face. but I only do it once a week. and make sure you scrub your face good so your pores don't turn dark. if it ever ends up to dark I use a lighter base make up. I also think they do a fake and Baker for your face too. never tried it.
Question:	How long does it last and will it rub off
Answer:	I would do a coat before bed on April 10th. Wash off the guide in the morning. Do another coat before bed on April 11th and wash off guide morning of April 12th. Make sure you moisturize with body butter or something thick the morning of the 12th to keep your skin nice and moisturized and hydrated. I'm very very pale so one coat is not enough for my liking. I always do two nights in a row for whole body and sometimes even third night just on my legs because they never seem to take color as good as rest of my body. Hope that helps. Oh also don't forget hands. After you're done with whole body, whatever is left on mitt run over top of hands and fingers.

Answer:	It comes out white and is the best tanning cream, my skin is hydrated and silky smooth for days on top of a great color. The tan fades in 4-5 days if you don’t use it a couple times a week. Get it, you will love it....
Question:	Can I Recycle This
Answer:	Of all the self tanning products I've tried, this comes off on my clothing the least. It's more the type of product that if you wear a white bra day after day for weeks, you'll probably find the straps starting to darken. It's not the type of thing (in my experience) that rubs off onto your white pants when you place your arm on your leg. I'm always cautious none the less. I have to say, this product spreads the most evenly of any that I've tried. In the past, I've used other lotions that I thought spread evenly until I see my skin directly in the sunlight. I then realize that I have dark and light patches. Rarely (if ever) have I noticed the patch problem with this one.

So, how does it work?

The active ingredient in most sunless tanning lotions is dihydroxyacetone, also known as DHA.
