Great question and there are several tips that make for a better, more even tan. 1) Exfoliate your skin before tanning - this will extend the life of your tan 2) If you shave the area you will be tanning, wait a few hours before applying the tanning lotion so your pores don't absorb the product and give you tan dots 3) Apply the product with latex gloves just as you would apply lotion, with an even layer over your skin 4) Apply less product to your feet, knuckles, elbows and hands as these areas absorb more than other spaces. Answer:	I have stopped using all bronzers. It works & looks great but when you stop using it, it looks terrible because it comes off on dead skin cells. So it leaves you blotchy. If you are going to use it constantly it would be ok. As far as it not hurting your face, I would think it is fine. It is not oily or anything.

Step One: Prep Your Skin

Apply to clean, dry, moisturized skin. For optimal color results, exfoliate with Jergens Natural Glow Color Primer Exfoliating In-Shower Body Scrub once per week prior to color application.

Step Two: Apply

Pump mousse into palm. Smooth onto skin, using sparingly around dry areas like knuckles, knees, elbows, and in between fingers and toes. Wash handles immediately after application.

Step Three: Allow to Dry

Answer:	A little late to the party, I usually shower at night and always made sure that my lotion was dry before going to bed. However, my husband and I found that (just my side of the bed) would have self tanning lotion residue left over. Thankfully it washes out nicely though so you can’t even notice.

Question:	Does anyone know just how long this tan will last? Or do I just have to keep applying it
Answer:	It’s best to apply daily and keep up with it I’d say it lasts about 2 days maybe 3 max if you don’t apply daily.
Question:	Can you use it on your face
Answer:	I think it depends on your skin type. I have dry skin and tried it, and it clung to dry spots. I was able to fix it by applying my moisturizer and blending out those patches, then washed my face as normal in the morning and applied my daily skincare. After all that, it looks really natural, but it was pretty gross looking before those fixes (like I had dirty age spots!). In general, they say on their website NOT to apply a moisturizer before application or during development, EXCEPT for dry parts of the body (like elbows, knees, hands, and feet), so because my face is dry I’m going to do that next time so it’s not patchy. They also say on their website that it can settle in pores and make them dark, so I’m guessing if you have oily skin that might be a problem, or the tanner will just slick off - they do have a face mist they recommend using instead.
Question:	do i apply lotion before or after
Answer:	Only apply lotion after rinsing the tanning mousse off, not before and not during! I got all the tips below from the FAQs on the b.tan website, which are kinda hard to find (the link is ALL the way at the bottom right of their site); You apply the mousse on clean, exfoliated skin; let it develop for 1-8 hours; then rinse with lukewarm water for 45 seconds, wiping the bronzer/color guide off with your hands - no soap, hot water, or loofahs, as those will also remove the tanning actives, which you want to leave in your skin because they continue to darken the tan for the next 12-24 hours. “...we don't recommend using a moisturizer before rinsing as it may strip the tan before it has developed or react with the product causing discoloration. You can use a moisturizer over drier areas of skin though, as this creates a slight barrier so that less tan builds up in dry skin (think elbows, knees, hands and feet).” However, “Once you've rinsed off the bronzers, you can & we recommend using one daily after tanning for longer lasting results that will fade evenly.” Hope that helps!

Answer:	It comes out white and is the best tanning cream, my skin is hydrated and silky smooth for days on top of a great color. The tan fades in 4-5 days if you don’t use it a couple times a week. Get it, you will love it....

Answer:	Of all the self tanning products I've tried, this comes off on my clothing the least. It's more the type of product that if you wear a white bra day after day for weeks, you'll probably find the straps starting to darken. It's not the type of thing (in my experience) that rubs off onto your white pants when you place your arm on your leg. I'm always cautious none the less. I have to say, this product spreads the most evenly of any that I've tried. In the past, I've used other lotions that I thought spread evenly until I see my skin directly in the sunlight. I then realize that I have dark and light patches. Rarely (if ever) have I noticed the patch problem with this one.

Answer:	I use it on just my face, neck, and hands. I use the regular Jergens glow for the rest of my body. It works great and looks natural.
Question:	How long do i need to wait to get dressed after applying
Answer:	You need to wear it overnight. If you put on clothing right away it will mess with the self tanner. If you have to get dressed I'd wait at least 3-4 hours but sleep overnight if possible.

Answer:	This product gives a very nice result. It does stain areas of perspiration with light colored clothing. If you use it and allow it to fully dry and penetrate your skin, this decreases staining. Since it's not a tint (rather a chemical reaction with your skin) there's no direct transfer of color. It has a particular scent that some find unpleasant. The scent will linger on clothing and linens. Look for bottles labeled "without odor" not just "improved scent". These are the best ones. If you are looking for a daily moisturizer, try Jergens Natural Glow (not the Jergens 3 days to glow- which I use for quickly upcoming occasions). One more thing- for both money and quality, this is the best on the market.

This is in reference to the Body Drench website which lists their products as being either a spray, mousse, or lotion. (Bodydrench.com) My personal experience is that "mist" better describes the way the product expels through the air. Sometimes a spray can have varying trajectories and so it is with a mist, you are getting a better idea of how the tanner will be applied. Misting is nice because it allows for a soft edge and less room for streaks. However, fine misting with self tanner is better done in a bathtub for easy cleanup since the product moves through the rest of the air too.

Answer:	I'm as white as they come and I use this product regularly. Once a week, medium, and I am never orange. It took quite a long time to get the application down without streaking, I wish they'd give it some sort of temporary color for application but idk what the orange lady is talking about, maybe she tried dark. Also, my towelettes are bone dry when I am finished with them, so for the other answer, I have no idea how that person reuses them. A friend of mind recommends unfolding as you go ie. open it and use one side on your legs, then the other side for the other leg, open it further and work your way up. Use lotion around the ankles and toes, etc.
